Life Steal Vs Effective Life Steal

    How is effective life steal calculated?

    I have two builds, one of which has twice the life steal but like a quarter of the effective life steal of the other. I'd like to find out what else effects effective life steal.

    You check in your player stats the life steal, then that's the amount you steal. But I think attack speed affects it too

    yeah, I understand what life steal is and I get that attack speed effects it, but on sites like https://wynnbuilder.github.io/ theres a measurement for effective life steal. I'm wondering how this is calculated off of.

    it is based off your effective hit points, which is based off of raw hp, defense, and agility

    Actually it's only defense and agility effective life steal is based on in wynnbuilder.
    Not EHP

    i.e.
    gaping cavity (1200 LS)
    + 68 defense (50.2%) and 68 agility (50.2%)
    give 1200 x (1/1-0.502) x (1/1-0.502) = 4848 effective LS
