please dont use wynntils. enjoy the vanilla game for a playthrough because wynntils features/issues confuse newcomers.

 

You said you dislike your class, so maybe this could guide you:
Shaman is good for slow but destructive playstyles. Also good support, very shit defense.
Archer is very fast with high damage and poor defense. It attacks from long distances.
Mage has solid defense, poor damage, good mobility and good support.
Assassin has good defense, good mobility, high damage, poor support and no range.
Warrior is tanky, with ok damage, decent support, good mobility.

Assassin and archer have fast playstyles, whereas mage, shaman and warrior are somewhat slower.

Also welcome to Wynncraft. I recommend you join the Wynncraft discord, where you can look to #questions or #looking-for-group for help. In-game, you can do normal quests, but also discoveries. Discoveries are hidden things within the world which tell you about the interesting lore of the game (which is fun to learn). The lore is quite important in Wynn, and is pretty interesting. Also you can meet new friends in the Wynn discord or around the map; community is a very important aspect of this game and there are lots of very nice people in the community. Make sure to take the game at your own pace, most importantly. There is no pressure to level up or anything, just do whatever you enjoy. Later on there are lots of combat challenges you can do solo or with friends.

Housing is a new feature which is worth looking into btw. Each major town has a housing balloon which you can right click for housing options, such as making your own house.

Do not use it at least until you are lv.50-60, so you know the feel. Once you finish your first playthrough (or you want it just too much) install it if you want, it can greatly enhance your experience

 

As said above, do not immediately use wynntils. While it does smoothen out some aspects of the game you should first try out vanilla to see how the creators intended the game to be played.

 

It's also your fault that I'm here! I needed to see the very peaceful and very not a warzone Fruma for myself

What class is it? I know there's a couple classes which can just be... interesting for newer players

Do quests/dungeons or if you feel up to it, do the professions. Explore the world do discoveries, you kinda just decide what you wanna do

Housing just got added. It'd cost you 750 emeralds to buy a house and to get the blocks you have to do woodcutting/mining/fishing/farming to exchange those resources for the blocks. But the house is mostly optional.

What is confusing about wynntils? The only thing that may confuse someone are % numbers in items.

 

Due to the amount of feature it provides it can make players think some things (e.g. percentages, map etc.) are core features of the game, posting here Wynntils bugs, feature requests or questions.

Also the server is 100% mod free so I think it is good that everyone gets at least the basic feel without Wynntils

 

Well the fact that core wynn lacks map makes it unbearable for a large amount of newcomers (speaking from expierence with my friends I tried to convince) All of them couldn't continue because Online map was too weird and they just got lost and quit at lvl 10-20.

 

I completely understand that, but still I think it is necessary for them to have mod-free experience at least for some time.

I am not saying no map is good though
