The answer is that there is no answer; not enough information is given about the red car. Norman could be some random dude in a green Toyota, and Jill can't be the red driver, as they pass them in the first 30 seconds. Even then, Jill only wants to high five the BLUE car. No data is given for the white Prius besides that his car is bad and that he needs to focus to not explode.

All we know of the red car is that they smiled, and they are going 49.21 miles per hour. All we know of the blue car is that they waved, and is going at a speed of 58 miles per hour. All data given about Jill, the blue car, and the white Prius is irrelevant. This leaves us with the sun being 2/5 of the way across the sky, and that, at their altitude, water boils at 104 degrees celsius. Nothing can be concluded from any of the data shown.

Thus, the most logical response, besides randomly guessing some numbers at a 1/34 chance, is that he is thinking of no number. Since previous responses has also probably gone over most (if not all) of the possible numbers but no winner was determined, there is no possible number. This is the best I could think of.

Water boils at 104 celcius when 4105 feet below sea level. (yes, I checked) That is equivalent to ~ -1250 meters.

These people are doing the quest One Thousand Meters Under. Make of that what you will.

I WANNA KNOW THE ANSWER

 

Factoring in the absolute speed of light, the average velocity of a cellphone dropping out of someone's hands, and the approximate temperature of the heat associated with politics, the answer (if I carried the five correctly) should be 41.

 

No response on who is right or wrong or anything. No hints were edited into the post after 10 days... is this just a waste of time? Is there no reward? What is life? What is the true creation of the universe, and what created that..? Do we really exist?
