Also, the only character with a logical explanation on their hair color is Eli; It’s revealed in the anime that she’s from Russia, hence the blonde hair which you normally wouldnt see in Japan

I agree that Maki, Eli, and Rin are best girl material.

I also just realized that Hanayo and Honoka are the only ones whose names don't have an 'i' in it and both of their names are very similar and they are both kinda unliked by the Love Live fandom.

 

I’m always conflicted where to put Hanayo on my list; I don’t really like her because she doesn’t have much of a personality, besides being shy and loving rice and idols, but at the same time, I love her because I can relate to her a lot and she’s super cute. I love her singing voice too

Yeah, me too. Like, she is definitely a relatable character, but I feel like all her character is is "relatable". I wish they would've made her character have more characteristics.

I haven’t watched it either. I don’t know if I will right away. I’m planning to move on to Attack on Titan once I’m done with Love Live

 

You should definitely move on to AoT next, since AoT Season 3 is here in Summer 2018. Watch out for the fandom though lol

Hanayo's vocals

 

I don’t like Hanayo being loud, it sounds weird for her voice to sound like that.

But I think this video is enough to show how pristine Hanayo’s voice is:

after all she is pretty quiet usually

 

She is definitely has a nasally voice and a big emphasis on pronunciation of some words. She sometimes doesn't have the correct pitch and is unstable. After she sings a highnote, she usually makes a small squeak. Her voice is unique, but in this case of music (happy and lively pop), her voice really don't fit most parts. Her voice fits more in a bridge part of a song.
