Just A Question

If I was Chime, I would definitely panic and go home as soon as possible. Since I (Chime) evidently have a huge crush on that girl, I'd probably resolve to myself that I'm gonna go back into the Labrynth and beat up some monsters. However, I'd definitely try and plan things out and buy gear if I can. Maybe money could be obtained through... uh... sketchy ways?

I am trying to have fun, its sort of like having an MMORPG in your head that you are the admin of. Sort of like being Grian or Salted except with an infinite amount more influence over the people.

 

In my opinion, the best comics are the ones that combine being serious with jokes.

 

Yeah, I've had huge ideas like that before, and I've slowly gotten to/through them, though not for something like this! If it where me, I'd get the book done before the comic, as I feel doing both at the same time would be adding more difficulty than needed. Plus if you do the comic later, you could use it to highlight the points you really wanted to stand out in the book.

WSWFG is mostly a hilarious comic, but it is a pretty good example.
Probably the best examples of funny yet serious comics would be "Mystic Revolution", or "Dumbing of Age"

If you are making a comic about a MMO, the ones to look at before you make it FOR SURE are "Mystic Revolution" and especially "Not a Villain"

 

I aspire to one day posses the finesse with which @modern curates his webcomics.

@modern you should also check out Sandra and Woo. It's a 4.5/5 comic that's in the style of Calvin and Hobbes

Yes, Gaia is a nice comic. However, I feel like they try to force themselves to use the question "Will you come along"
It really doesn't have the impact they intended and whenever it shows up, it seems forced.

Do check out this comic called "Scurry"! It has AMAZING art and a decent story so far too

 

yeah well I already completely finished the rough draft of the story. I am currently working on the final product, which probably won't be a final. I want this to be a side project to improve my art skills. If you people don't like it or I don't like it, I will probably stop really quickly
