So Speaker/Papyrus/GoH/Bad Wolf is now better than Cosmic/Bad Wolf? Even though Cosmic is locked behind ??? completion?

 

So I heard that +skillpoints on crafted armor work more like stat-potion skillpoints and don't count as actual skillpoints, is this true?
If its true, does this mean that when I for example put 100 skillpoints in strength, equip a crafted helmet with +10 strength, I cannot equip a (crafted) chestplate with a 110 strength requirement? (assuming my other pieces of armor do not give extra strength skillpoints)
Can an IM please confirm if this is true, and if it indeed is, why the hell does it work like this then?

 

It is true, but I don't know the exact reasoning. My best guess is avoiding the interaction between crafteds that help reach requirements not reaching them anymore due to durability-ID scaling and items at those requirements.

In practice, skill points don't scale with durability as far as I know.

EDIT: The latter characteristic of crafted items is because of a bug.

 

Seems strange that both would be in place, since either one individually would work.

no i was guessing the pic he posted was a list of things theyre working on at the moment, with the parts that are done marked with a checkmark and the ones yet-to-be-started with an x. or something along those lines.
possibly something to do with tri-element reworking

 

Thats what I assumed in the start too, but its just too weird for that to be it imo, + a lot of IMs liked that original post so that probably makes it even more clear its some sort of code, or atleast something special.

How did you get these? I'm certain it's some kind of code now, some banter in Discord confirmed it. The, uh, "second teaser for the next IM update" was "WE R ADDING" in a black bar on a picture, if that counts as anything.

[edit: not braille, grid doesn't line up and it was a stupid idea anyway. brightening/darkening the image doesn't seem to deliver either, nor does inspecting.]

After listening through some community member's feedback, we've decided to make additional changes to the following items from the last item patches

Cataclysm:
-5000 -> -6000 Health (4200-7800)
Reasoning: A lot of people complained that the health nerf on cata is too severe, and funny enough, it actually is 10% more than the system's maximum, so we just lower it back.

Knucklebone:
25% -> 0 Melee Damage
0 -> 2 Attack Speed (1-3)
-900 -> -1250 Life Steal (875-1625)
25% -> 0 All Elemental Damage
Reasoning: Everyone seems to agree max 3 tier knuckle is super strong so we increased the drawback on it. Even though +1 tier would be a much safer option, nothing about knucklebone is safe really now, and it is really cool to see people try to make use of this extreme design, so we decided to run with it.
