Having more leeway on the hp allows you to build more damage.

 

Woohoo a warrior nerf, why don't we just make the class do 0 damage while we're at it?

A heavy melee isnt nerfing warrior alone, its nerfing the playstyle that was insanely broken before and deserved a nerf.

After messing around with spring and freedom the freedom nerf seems to do basically nothing. Then the spring buff, holy crap its actually good. Like seriously to my knowledge no 4/4 mana crafted bow can outdamage it (maybe its possible with a super high dex build but idk) like its actually good idk why people are shitting on it.

 

Because you can craft bows with less mr that do a chunk more damage. It’s not worth spending stacks on a bow when you could make one with less mr and more damage for less than a fraction of the price.

Do you have any strati builds that can even compare to freedom and divzer?

 

If you are expecting strati to do divzer or freedom damage then you’re looking at the wrong bow. Its stupid to compare it to the most damaging bows when thats not even necessarily the thing strati is meant to do.

Strati trades off damage for more survivability from agility and walk speed, which both significantly help in combat.

ok, so what's the deal on sprint and sprint regen? I was under the impression they were supposed to be ingredient only(but with exceptions eg mirror's edge) but slapping it on 20 different things makes me think otherwise. Did something change?

 

good lord every mythic have different functions and am very positive that you can't really compare any of them directly.
Assuming you are talking about damages.
Stratiformis is an air elemental bow. Air traits consist of low damage and other stuff, while on the other hand you have Divzer, a thunder bow. Thunder traits has naturally high damage and other stuff. and Freedom, Rainbow with Air traits (and dumb damages, seriously.) Rainbow on itself is an all-rounder.

They functions differently.

The exclusivity of sprint and sprint regen isn't 100% exclusivity like loot quality or eventual gathering IDs. Seeing as it's on Running Water, Mirror's Edge, and Veekhat's set, for example. However, Sprint on items is going to be fairly rare, and mostly tied to air items, since some air items just don't really have much of an identity at the moment. They add a bit of spice, y'know?

As for the Mythic changes(and The Evolved), these were the last contributions of Major before he left the team. Freedom's nerf may not affect much, but we're taking it more in steps than anything else. If other things need a nerf about it, we'll see in the future, and the same goes for Divzer. Spring is...a tricky beast. Without making it just way too powerful, I don't think it can surpass crafteds, cause it's already a decent amount stronger than it used to be.

Regarding the Evolved...I think he just made a typo? The suggestion made by Highbread was -4, and we all just sort of collectively agreed it was the best way to handle things, so a +4 is strange, but it's what was typed on the in-house rebalance sub board. I'll swap that over to a -4.

Trust me, with health regen being as strong as it is now, keeping it like it was was just gonna be a little much. It's way heavier a push to w/f now, and more defensive.

I think Spring needs a Major ID in order to separate it from Crafteds because as of right now it's super easy to make a bow with similar/better stats with semi-common ingredients and average rolls. I don't think the Strength buffs or water dmg is going to help it too much.

Does this mean that this miniscule freedom nerf is not going to be changed for this update, and we're going to have to wait another 6 months for real change? It's pretty obvious to me, based on the community reaction and the difference in damage on test wynndata builds, that the nerf is utterly insignificant. As others have pointed out, freedom gets all the advantages of the air element plus free health and damage comparable to divzer. The design is way too good all around.

I don't see how testing the freedom nerf ingame for months is going to change anyone's mind on its effectiveness. Nobody is even going to notice the damage recuction.

Can't you change freedom meaningfully in this update, instead of months later? It's been broken for long enough and everyone knows it. Please consider the unanimous feedback you've gotten about your nerf and give freedom a real change.

 

More expansion on why I don't like the soarfae change: I would much rather have a non-mana air spell chest, or at least a pure damage option.
Spell armors have almost no non-mana damage options, or at least ones that are worth using over Mana options.

Why did capri get a buff? Wouldn't it be better to see the effects of the virt nerf before buffing an already meta item in capri?
