I was delighted with the ms buff for Struggle, until I found it is a stepping stone for another nerf about TFA Heavy Melee items. :(

 

yo im late to the party, does it mean you'll now find morph emeralds lootbonus rings around the desert and morph amethyst, soul point regen bracelet around Corkus?

 

this basically just means double topaz isn't as viable now at low levels ;C

 

well, at lvl 37 ish its better to have xp bonus over lb no?

 

yeah but double topaz + amethyst +gold + iron is what they're fixing here by making it impossible to hit 5/8 at lvl 50

 

Thoughts on the new boss altar items:

• Panic Zealot - I've already expressed my thoughts on this, it's a cool design but imo too powerful. Personally, I would prefer to see it keep the current design largely, but have its walkspeed be negative (like base -30 or -40, idk)
• Anxiolytic - It's pretty weak. I could understand if it had some heavy melee benefits or something (since the optimal playstyle would be one with lower spell frequency, and damage made up in melee), but as-is, the spell costs will more than cancel out the mana regen, and that leaves it as basically a +37 sp piece with fairly high hp.
• Dissociation - looks very cool (but rollable hp... really?). I'd have to build to be more confident, but looking at the stat spread my instinct tells me it'll be usable in ETA tierstack, and competitive (possibly overpowered but not willing to commit to that opinion without testing it out) in WA spell, maybe TWA too. It's unlikely to have a place in other elemental combos or playstyles.

Dissociation is going to be an item rolling nightmare but looks quite neat. Not completely sure of its versatility but it TA hybrid and ETA stand out to me most...maybe WTFA quad but that might be pushing it.
Panic Zealot looks like a total shitshow with cancel stack...like what the hell the -1st and -3rd spell gives the absolute crowd control to make tier stack insanely overpowered. I feel like maybe a bit of -mana might be necessary. However I have been informed that its gonna have a major id so I guess we can wait and see if that balances this out at all.
As for Anxiolytic what the heck?? Messing around with it I hardly see use for it given that in rainbow rainbow sanc+mana boots is almost always going to be a better option. Plus those +spell costs and the unnecessary -elemental defenses just makes this item seem lackluster even with the +sp

• I can maybe understand that for Divzer, depending on how the future weapon revamp goes, though arguably it could still do with it because it does have -40 def and agi. It's hard to judge considering the relatively poor state of weapons and cancelstack overall.
• Mithril Mantle e
• Far Cosmos - nerf makes sense, it's got great sp still and that 2nd cost too.
• Estuarine fix!!! (okay it's not a big deal but cool that it happened)
• Necrosis remains somewhat overpowered in cancelstack and gets even weaker in actual poison.
• Modulator nerf lmao
• Boots of Blue Stone moment
• Anima was overbuffed and overnerfed at the same time e...
• Nulli nerf - can't really be judged until we see how rainbow revamp goes
• ~5% cut to Freedom damage, makes sense.

 

necrosis just needs to lose some of the +tiers imho or something. maybe give it -melee?

Necrosis HAS -melee. % and raw.

 

Unless i missed something in the last hero beta patch its only got the -melee %

 

not sure if it is pushed to HB yet but it is supposed to have it

 

Understandable, it was like a better version of Libra essentially.

This one to me may need to change a bit as it looks like Shimmersight now, some mana regen and/or life steal on it I think would work better than the rainbow defense.

I sense a change in the future for this item as well as that looks like a lot of a damage bonus for some boots.
