How many members is the Item Team looking for total? 6?
holy fk new thread
I thought this is already live...
high respect to major and jp for their contributions to the game, while it's sad to see them officially off the team i understand their reasons for moving on
best of luck to the item team and its future applicants! dont overwork yourselves lol
so uh whats the point of turning brainwash into brainwash but with reversed ids? seems like a completely new item to me.
Just like other items on elemental revamp, that change is supposed to support tri-element : For that Brainwash, ETW
however we know why it's canceled right
brainwash etw is already cool
Is the plague rework already in the game? cause the major ID still says 70% and I'm pretty sure it's still broken.
Item applications are open! The app has undergone a few adjustments, but people who applied before who haven't gotten their apps looked over will still get their fair chance based off of the old application setup.
We are gaming now peeps
The [Running Log] has been added!
For those who knew the very first item thread that was updated with changes that were ready-to-go as we went, a similar thing will be happening here, where as we make changes(but before we push them) the Running Log will be filled with them! This list will be cleared out with each changelog we make- expect a list of changes very soon!
all the time
i unironically used it when levelling warrior just because charge cost is not fun
edit: after actually looking past the first change, does this:
mean that blood moon is still not a go?
wtf actually pro gamer
I like most of those mythic changes. Freedom was needed as we know lol. Strati seems good I do however wonder how much it will actually help in game. Spring idk how it will work but I plan on messing around with it on wynndata as it seems interesting. divzer was needed as was ignis. Personally I think the grandmother nerf may be a bit much as post patch I felt it was actually weaker than divzer ignis and freedom (and after these nerfs I feel it still was around there) maybe its just me liking the big damage but idk. Warp was probably needed also so nice.
One thing I will point out that im not a fan of is the damage nerfs on items like shaggy, blind thrust, and earth breaker as I feel that the damage was really nice for heavy spell hybrid builds.
Some quick feedbacks:
Yep, we definitely did, but is 6 per element really gonna do enough to bring this down from its high throne?
sigh... Not exactly what I wanted, but a buff nonetheless. Hopefully it helps ig
imo should have just removed dex or something, but strength is cool too ig, EWF/EWA sprong will be pogging
Definitely seeing assassin no int vanish abuse here. Looks good though, and finally is going in game pog (new mario build??)
This seems like an overnerf... The extra tiers itself imo would have been enough, to kill easy cancelstack. I hope it doesn't die out of use now
Am I missing something or does the freedom nerf accomplish nothing?
https://wynndata.tk/s/tbhqip sample freedom build pre freedom nerf: 42281 storm
https://wynndata.tk/s/0nql53 same freedom build post freedom nerf: 40829 storm
It's a ~3.5% damage decrease with this build. Freedom isn't going to be any worse because the fights now take an extra 1 second to finish (3.5% less dmg on a sample 30 second fight). Freedom still has absolutely no drawbacks whatsoever. The hp makes up for glassy rainbow items and rsanc, the mana lets you focus on damage (and nighthawk), the +50 agi skill points still give insane survivability on top of the base rainbow reqs with damage focused builds, and the damage is nearly the same.
What was the point of this? There are so many things that make freedom overpowered that don't include the fact that it had 3.5% more damage than after this nerf. Freedom will still be the best bow by a longshot after this change, especially now that divzer got hit with a big fat [sad] sustain nerf (also ignis/gma).
EDIT - Other feedback:
I also think this was too much of a nerf; fixing the cancelstack abuse is a given but the thunder damage nerf just hurts hybrid builds unecessarily.
Please nerf atlas to max 2ms
that's not possible; it can either have a base 1 id (all atlas have 1ms) or a base 2 id (atlas have 1-3 ms, with a very small chance of 3%)
base 1 would mean the max roll is 1.3*1=1.3, which doesn't round up to 2.
base 2 means the max roll is 1.3*2=2.6, which rounds up to 3 (as do all the rolls down through 1.25*2=2.5)
that's just how the id system works; items with rollable ids can't have an id that ranges from 1-2
