    Love the new item designs so far!
    Can anyone say whether or not the new item ID's (Gathering speed/ gathering XP bonus) have been added? Or are they going to be ingredient only identifications?

    please have patience alta is working very hard

    and i do believe gathering xp and speed will only be on ingredients (wouldn't make a lot of sense if it wasn't, to be honest).

    It looks more usable now. The high req still renders the main secondary benefit hard to use, but it's certainly far better than before.

    I mean a 40% nerf to nighthawk seams like a lot when shaman exists... but that’s fine I guess, just fine, all the classes are definitely in a balanced state right now where some classes are far too weak and could use buffs. Like mage could use some more damage on ice snake or something at least and Warrior is a whole different beast... meanwhile spellvamp can definitely still exist in the current game with some tweaks from its former iteration at the start of wynncraft. Luke seriously, you give shaman a damaging ability that also heals them??? Like why is that ok but spellvamp can’t exist

    Wait so nighthawk is getting nerfed again??
    Ugh I agree it could use a small nerf but 40% is to much. Looks like it's about to be another victim of "oh this is godly let's make it useless" mentally...
    But honestly I do agree mage and warrior aren't in great spots right now. Mage is just so boring that maybe making ice snake more dynamic could help out a bit. Warrior though...I mean I'd just love to see war scream give hp Regen or something. Also I feel personally like the only problem shaman has is agility. I mean it's meant to be glassy but you can still run 150 agility tank on it which in my opinion is the main problem with it.

    Nighthawk should be nerfed in damage, is an accurate, short burst you can spam more DPS than normal arrow storm. Also, you are using the helmet for the convenience of landing all your shots to maximize your arrow storm damage, not making every archer build super powerful.

    Well, I believe Morgan's original post was about a change that already happened, but we can definitely still talk about Nighthawk, since it is still a steaming shitshow and way more powerful than it should be. Let's go over why.
    - second biggest raw spell helmet, only being beaten by BPC (which is a master hive item that locks you out of str and def), and possibly tying with Whitecap Crown
    - no reqs
    - 3300 health which is beating out any other helmets with raw spell or any of its other stats aside from Ornate, which yet again is a restricted item only usable once per build and is locked behind one of the hardest quests in the game
    - has a major id that, while not as overpowered as it once was, still boosts your dps by a lot and makes the spell that was designed around taking risks have basically no consequences at all (you don't need any AoE spells because every other archer spell already does that well enough)
    - now for the kicker, the real kneeslapper, the absolute lad of an identification it has -1 1st spell cost which hoo boy comes with its own slew of issues I have:
    - extremely useful for mage (raw spell + -1 cost) and assassin (spin to win) and even warrior (raw spell and -1 1st cost)
    -boosting the archer spell that it, mind you, already majorly buffs

    It's literally an insane boost on top of an incredible boost on top of an amazing boost on top of a great boost on top of a nice boost, surely it has some big negative to it to make it balanced! Maybe decently high negative intelligence, maybe pretty high negative health regen, maybe it makes your bomb spell cost like 2 more ma-

    please nerf, like 90% of archer builds requests are with nighthawk and the other 10% probably just doesn't know it exists i am sick and tired of this dumb helmet

    I feel like they should rework it; massively increase both the spell’s damage and cost, and maybe make it increase the costs of both bomb and arrow shield. Make hawkeye arrow storm a massive burst damage spell for chunking majors and bosses, but one that makes the build its in worse for ad clear overall (like the celestial nighthawk from Destiny, which I’m pretty sure it’s based on)

    Or since it seems designed around buffing range, increase the cost of arrow shield and nerf its health and defenses

    oh yeah that change (i got it in my head 700 > 500 cuz im dumb) okay yeah. i thought that he meant they where doing that again. Personally I think the major id is fine. I think what should be changed instead is nighthawk should get an hp nerf as well as +1 3rd spell cost.

    Regarding Nighthawk:
    - Hawkeye needs to take the same time as a regular arrow storm
    - That -1 1st spell cost can go die

    Ok, i guess you all have very good points to my nighthawk complaint. but what i didnt hear from anyone was my point on spellvamp making a return in a new form from what it was in early wynncraft.

    for reference if none of you know, spellvamp on archer and assassin was extremely powerful because it proc'd on every hit from multihit and arrow storm. this was of course, a large issue. unfortunately, they completely removed the ID in the updated version of wynncraft due to its overwhelming power which was understandable but as the game is now, i believe that it could make a return in a nerfed iteration.

    for example, instead of proc'ing per hit of an ability, spell-vamp would heal the player a set amount per spell-cast or for a very small percentage of the damage dealt in a spell. im curious what you all think of this

    Make it a major id, possibly on an item that gives massive -intelligence and a mana regen penalty, and it might work

    I wasn't around when this was a thing but sounds neat.

    Personally I hope that we can get more fableds, major ids, and some item changes in the near future more than anything else.

    It was broken as shit, and so good. I had literally one mana steal on a squid dagger back then, and it literally refilled my mana bar pretty much every time I used multihit. (It also could one hit level 75 players cuz multihit was broken also OP back then)
