    Villager Set beats Diamond Dust/Jera by 2 loot bonus. 96% to 98%.

    Other set bonus thoughts:
    - Adventurer's Set is useful now.
    - Tribal Set +tier! Low-level +tier makes a lot more items in the low levels viable, which previously were kind of mediocre.
    - Outlaw Set's Agi bonus is a neat concept.
    - Visceral Set's design has always been one of my favorites.
    - Saint Set is also interesting.
    - Champion Set got buff (but still probably mediocre).
    - Kaerynn Set was already bad but got nerf?
    - Black Catalyst got even more nerf.
    - Uth Set still meh.
    - Snail Set looking neat, although loss of Def hurts it's getting hp and hpr so yay.
    - Morph Set is even worse than it was in revamp.

    Hey guys, I've got a quick question for you all that doesn't warrant a full thread.

    Recently it's come to my attention that every endgame (76-100) pure thunder wand is merchant-bought.
    This isn't inherently a bad thing, I just happened to notice because of a colour-coded spreadsheet we have, and it seemed like an interesting quirk to bring up. Do you guys think this is a detrimental thing for pure thunder mages? It wouldn't be too much of a pain to change around the way some wands are obtained so a couple pure thunder endgame wands enter the normal loot pool, so I want your thoughts on the matter.

    Just to clarify, the wands in question are:
    Plate Shock (Rare Lv. 82)
    Genetor (Rare Lv. 87)
    Judas (Legendary Lv. 89)
    Ciel (Unique Lv. 94)
    Halation (Unique Lv. 95)

    So alongside increasing ingredient and recipe durability values, you took almost every +durability ingredient and gave them all -durability instead. On one hand I wonder if the feedbacks saying "crafting seems too restricting, could you do something" made you think "HMM... WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT... YEAH, WHAT IF WE MADE CRAFTING EVEN MORE RESTRICTING THAN BEFORE! GREAT IDEA, LET'S DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!"; on another hand, however, there might either be new +durability boosters or the changes for durability in general will make up for them. Nevertheless, I'm slightly curious what you came up with.

    yes please. same applies for earth, u have to use bismu (which is horrible if not poison build) or hive wand with powders










    and now for ing balancing, some changes that defo need to be brought up:

    glacial anomaly : nerf this crap - make it 1/4 to 2/4, not a guaranteed 2/4

    pure quartz : 10% spell - > 7% at max. this is easily slappable once ur out of ur 100 req (if doing a full crafted build) and can make up for other ingredient slots very easily, especially with mage due to raw spell.

    fairy powder: remove mr
    cat food: 1/4 to 2/4 - > 1/4 to 1/4 and remove -xp and add some other ID (maybe one of the new ids) so it doesnt look like a worse defishous

    large lapis: currently u can make 0 dura 70% spell jewlery and dura decay does not effect it so u basically have free +70% spell, large lapis doesnt need a nerf but this should be fixed

    black hole: this is a suggestion - add at least 1 or 2 more tailoring/armouring +tier stuff, reverse catalyst and black hole are the only options and it's not very fun since you might want to slap agi or def in a melee build

    borange fluff: really nobody uses this because horn, pride and lunar charm exist. since this has no -dura (but its still stupid rare and expensive.. while charms cost 24 eb pride costs 32 eb and horns cost ~3.5 le but lets ignore that) it should have 12% - > 20% effectiveness imo. this way its still behind all the +effectiveness% ings, but still has no -dura AND can be used for every single crafting

    mapping module: change agi req from 60 - > 50 , 60 kinda seems like too much

    piquant pork fillet: this ingredient is really boring, the -dura is super heavy and it just gets a +1 charge, with 15% hpr. imo should have one of the new IDs on it as long as the % isn't too high or the id wouldnt be broken on it

    eye of the beast: i dont even know what to say bout this one, just needs a total revamp, i rly have no clue what to suggest might think of something later. maybe mr ingredients just shouldn't exist lol



    possible i forgot a few things but those should be the main ones



    now moving to quest rewarding ings: simply remove those. make them obtainable by mobs and/or chests or hell even dungeon drops or some mini boss fight idfk, quest reward ings r really silly

    balancing:

    weakening catalyst : 20-25% xp - > 8%-16% xp - would still be able to make better potions than lucky spider eggs but at least it wouldnt be stupidly busted with +duration

    royal cake: this isn't exactly a balance, more like a suggestion, this is kind of the only good ws ing for cooking (outside iride elytra but no reason to use that outside of jeweling)


    finally, another slight suggestion ingredient-related: currently, skelemancer drops nothing at all
    there is a t3 ing called unsettling soul used for scribing which has +duration and I believe 1 guaranteed mana steal, so far i havent seen anybody find out what actually drops it so how about just slap it to skelemancer?

    Durability boosters won't be a thing again. That's the funny thing about that word though. Up to this point mostly ever crafted item has been using durability boosters for them to be deemed worth using. That seems a bit restrictive in itself, doesn't it? There's just a few of them and yet they almost have to be used in order to get a "decent" recipe.

    Removing them but also giving way more room for players to work with let's let's do what they want more. They don't have to use durability boosters for a decent recipe but instead can opt to only use a few ingredients to achieve the same thing. There tends to always be something to fill that slot, though. All in all, the durability increase should make up for the durability booster reworks, but if it's consistently not the case then feel free to come back with some examples regarding it.

    As a final note, this may negatively affect the endgame minmaxing community and my apologies for that. I know what it's like to be on the receiveing end. But that being said, this change is made to help with consistent feedback across various levels that durability doesn't feel good currently.

    TL;DR: If your item uses none of the current durability boosting ingredients, expect a doubling in durability, if it does use them, expect a reduction in durability. Most likely a reduction to 1 durability.
    Quite the opposite reason somebody put them in the recipe in the first place huh.

    Jokes aside, this would actually break almost every single item that uses durability boosting ingredients, an easy fix would be to disproportionally boost base item durability to compensate for the loss, but that change has other negative implications. Major understands this i'm sure.

    At the very least, i would prefer not to have the positive booster change pushed to main until a solution has been found that doesn't break current items.

    An option would be to instead of keeping their tiers as is, we'd dilute their stats down to what a lower tier would be and so the durability cost would be lower as well. It doesn't completely solve it, but it might make it so that they're not reduced to 1 durability. It's hard to justify doing because it would mean be handicapping these ingredients while also possibly not solving it because they go from +durability to -durability which is drastic no matter what happens.

    I doubt anyone would complain much if they were pushed to T0-level stats. They're losing their value anyway so people who have a stock are going to lose out regardless, might as well keep more existing crafted gear viable.

    Some of the changes are slightly outdated, as that changelog was taken from before feedback was received on them. Many of the sets such as Nether Set, Black Set, and Kaerynn's Set have received buffs to aspects such as their damage or skill points. Morph in particular was fielded with the community towards having a higher skill point boost, with the end result giving +31 and having 3 in each mana instead of 1 for the whole set. This was shared publicly.

    I forget if a comment was made on a thread, but there were multiple conversations on the discord regarding it at the time where I asked for feedback about it, as well as fielding it through some people privately that were working with us to give focused feedback on builds for the element revamp. It's out there someplace, basically...if I knew where it was I'd have pointed you towards it, hence why I took the time to point out that things have changed somewhat in my post.
