Info Item Team Thread - Item/ingredient/major Id Changes, Updates & More (updated 28/03/2020)

Hello again! Due to restructuring (mentioned later), the team’s thread has moved yet again. It’s business as usual, with some slight modifications. If you didn’t know we’re part of the Item Team, a branch of the Wynncraft content team that works with items, ingredients, and gameplay mechanics. You’ll often see us reaching out to you guys for feedback and discussion on a weekly basis (again, more to come on that later in the post).


Latest Update (28/03/2020)

We've got a pretty big update for you guys thanks to @Xavi! It's a pretty hefty dive into what the team's been doing for the past while, but it's a bit too long to be featured on this thread so it got its own one here! For an attempted summary: The post goes through which elements and combinations have had progress made on them/completed. It also gives some insight into the changes to TFA that you guys can expect regarding spell costs. There's quite a lot more so I definitely recommend you all to check it out for a deeper dive into what's been happening recently.


Weekly Discussions

As mentioned before we want to spring some interesting community-driven conversation about specific topics. To do that we’ll be doing weekly discussions about certain topics that are either live or possible changes we’d like to get more feedback on. I’d like to stress that this won’t be a one-sided conversation; we’ll be reading and interacting with you guys as the conversation evolves.

With this, we hope to preserve a healthy relationship with you guys and ensure we’re on the same page with changes we have made and will be making. These topics will be done on a new thread each week. If there’s enough interest as the week rolls over we’ll continue the conversation for another week otherwise it’ll be locked as a new one will be created.

Be sure to pay attention to the forums tomorrow for our first topic: Master Hive Armour. The new stats for each item will be shown off and you guys can experiment and deliver feedback directly.

Also, if you guys feel there's a topic that deserves a week's worth of attention and discussion don't be afraid to suggest it here on this thread! We have our own topics, but we're definitely down to give the mic to some of your guys' as well.

This includes the mythic, master hive, endgame weapons, lifesteal, SS/VF/SF base damage adjustments, skill points, and attack tier changes. As such, old changelogs have been deprecated. Misc. Changes
- Added numerical information to Major IDs that were missing it. This affects Plague, Sorcery, Calvalryman, Taunt, Entropy, Hawkeye
- Updated wording of some major IDs. This affects Lightweight, Madness, Taunt

Hawkeye
- Damage per arrow decreased to 100%, from 140%

Greed
- Heal reduced to 15%, from 20%

Plague
- AoE increased to 10, from 8
- Poison increased to 80%, from 70%

Heart of the Pack
- Heal increased to 35%, from 30%

Saviour's Sacrifice
- Bonus damage/defence increased to 50%, from 30%
- Health threshold increased to 50%, from 30%

Madness
- Cast time decreased to 3 seconds, from 10 seconds

Good to see you guys have gotten stuff sorted out, as well.
Pretty excited to see the post-Elem Revamp master Hive items, Chaos-Woven Greaves with a possibility for defenses and (hopefully still) mana regen on Gaea-Hewn boots could actually make Manna good..

Dang that sucks, that was the one thing I was looking forward to when finding out about this new thread thread. Any ideas on when they will be reopened?

We're trying to keep the team to a smaller amount and see how it works out. Salted's post explains the why a little more, but that's our current plan.
