why do you have a file full of fortnite wins and memes? do your parents know you have this file?
PUBG and Blue A-Holes aren't entirely innocent themselves either. They tried to sue Fortnite for being successful and I think they sued another BR game that had a frying pan in it. Then they proceed to copy Fortnites Battle Pass system only making it worse, right after they tried to sue epic games for "copying" them.

I won't lie, I despise both Fortnite and PUBG, but I will give credit where credit is due, PUBG does take a certain amount of skill unlike the spamfest that is Fortnite, however unlike Fortnite, PUBG and Blue Hole in-general don't care about their player-base, and this is proven by their "Event Pass" and how they want to be on top of the BR industry so that they can make moar money. Not to mention every single cosmetic in the game will take you up to 80 years to get without shelling out cash to Blue Hole. Think of it like what Bungie did with D2, overpricing and over depending on selling players cosmetics and then expect their fan-base to pay money for a DLC, only with Bungie, they didn't try to assassinate the competition by falsely throwing lawsuits out the wazoo.

In this case, I will credit Fortnite for how they handle monetization... sometimes... (them taunts are worse than tf2's rip off taunts.)

Like the rest of the battle royale games out there it is based on pure luck, Whoever manages to gank first wins. Whoever has the best gun or the almighty sniper rifle wins. The map design is just flat out lazy and outside the towns/major landing points and is almost empty except for like a barn or other random structure. To this day it still baffles me that a game that could be designed in well under a day has reached such popularity.

In all honesty, it must be doing something right, however I only ever play it with friends who themselves are somewhat obsessed over it. The only time I can imagine myself playing it on my own would be if whilst relaxing or to wind down after a long day, but I have other more enjoyable ventures for that, such as Wynncraft. So, not really that enjoyable solo but as a group I have some fun moments, though that comes from interacting with friends, rather than the game itself.

    So here's how it works.

Fortnite isn't that good. It's ok though, EVERYONE thinks it's "pretty fun". So everyone in the world plays it. However, I haven't seen anyone praising it as the best game of all time. It just does the bare minimum to be good, but pleases a huge crowd, making it more popular than a lot of other games, which are considered some of the best.

    Basically quantity over quality.

I basically fall into the camp of, “friends wanted me to, played a few solo and team matches, and then never played again.” It’s an OK game, and I can understand the appeal to it, but I personally don’t like the Battle Royal genre as a whole.

Looking through the comments, I feel bad for those who have to deal with the community. It wasn’t bad at my school, but my experience wasn’t that good with having my friend yelling at me every 2 seconds to do something and then acting all smug because it was my first match.

Considering that most triple A developers want a slice of the Battle Royale trend pie, I think Fortnite does its job better than most of the Battle Royale games that have come out in the past couple of months.

But is it a good game? Not really. It does have its flaws, but it's solid enough to its job.

Fortnite is an okish game, its very Skill based, meaning that you will probably need some training changing between 5 objectives with keybinds to quickly build up an "tower" or whatever grants your more height than your enemy has. Height is very important as it makes it easier to shot headshots and barly receive any.
I recommend to watch some videos of the "pros" so you get an idea how to actually play fortnite and not being one of the 80 players that instantly die, or one of those that hide to be in the top 10s with 0 kills.

If Fortnite is skill based than every game is skill based.
