Is Afk Grinding Bannable?

How is Alkatraz dealing so much damage a glitch, it limits other elements heavily so you can barely deal any daamge with other elements, only earth. People could use attack speed, but that makes you a glass cannon most of the time, for example, Electrocharged Greaves give good attack speed, but 650hp, negative earth stats, melee damage and health regen so you could die very quickly. I don't know how a cactus/life steal build would be bannable too, it is just taking advantage of certain gear like Endurance, Cancer, Call of the Void or Virgo, and some hp, which certain items provide, and life steal/poison, which can be provided by Cancer, Apocalypse and Grimtrap.

 

They can not be banned for it, though I heavily recommend not doing it.

He did not mean -thousands-, he meant -hundreds of thousands-. In a single hit.

 

But isn't abusing glitches bannable?

 

People were abusing glitches when they used raw spell damage to rack up massive damage as well, and no one was banned for that. Instead, it was fixed. Salted has been informed about this, and while I have not heard anything on the topic, I assume it will be fixed, same as life steal activating constantly on poison was fixed, or how raw spell damage causing massive damage boosts was fixed.

 

I didn't know that was a glitch, I thought it was just an OP thing which needed a nerf, but I understand what you mean.

I agree with you. Glitch or not, it's simple; it wasn't meant to work the way that it's currently working, so it's going to get fixed. And when it does, we will all know about it, not necessarily from an announcement, but from the flood of threads crying about having lost it. I wouldn't make a build on it, or buy armor or accessories based on it; it's OP and anything OP gets fixed, eventually.

I'm not saying people will or have been banned, I'm saying that yes, they should be. Abusing glitches is a direct violation of the rules, it's not my fault if the mods still don't ban people for it.

 

There is a difference in abusing a glitch and abusing a glitch.
Things is not black and white. And there is also a difference of being OP and abusing a glitch. People that use a cactus build are not abusing a glitch more than me with my OP Az. Or a warrior with alkatraz, yes they do tones of dammage but what if I told you that I have been able to 1 shot lots of alk warriors with my Az? Am I abusing a glitch just because I use my bow? Should I not use the bow I bought just because it CAN do +17k damage?
Since there is no way of telling if Az will do 1k or 17k its actually not as OP as one might think. So am I abusing a glitch when my Az do 1k bomb arrows?

As I said things is not just black and white and since we are humans and humans are creative we will always find way. Thats why @Salted has to constantly nerf stuff, but is it bad thing? People don't like nerfs and I understand them, but actually for every nerf wynncraft gets we get more creative. So you could say that its a good thing people find and use this kind of "wormholes" since in the end 3 things happen: 1 since we tend to find this kinds of glitches they can get fixed much more easily since no admin or mod or any staff would be able to find these without the players and 2 we actually get more creative AND we are able to keep @Salted occupied (MUHAHAHAHA!) and somehow someway keep Wynncraft alive and dynamic :)
