Is 1.16 Better Than 1.12 Now?

    Thanks for the replies guys. I've been using 1.12.2 since I started playing again but since I don't use Wynntils I'll play on 1.16 for a while and see how it goes. I switched last night and so far so good; nothing bad so far besides the swimming/sneaking rubberbanding, but I think that's just 'cus they're 1.16 features and aren't coded in, or something.

    Swimming is 1.13+ and the server is 1.8 so it thinks your kinda hacking or smth

    It's more that the player's hitbox is a different size, which means that the server's physics and the client physics calculations differ. Client physics is rendered, but the server then disagrees and sends the player back to where it thinks it should be, causing a rubberband. Nothing to do with the anticheat, this is also caused by packets being sent using Player.sendBlockChange() in spigot, which is another case where the client and server disagree on what's happening

    Okay, I don't have the source code for Wynncraft so I wouldn't know - that was my thought previously
