Discoverer is thusly 17.3% better alone for chests on average compared to your example, or 21.8% with both examples maxed. Your statement is statistically invalid, along with the fact that it's still possible to use other loot-boosting items along with Discoverer.

 

Yea I know discoverer is 21% better than jera and a loot bonus weapon, and it also cost 18 more stacks of le than jera and a loot bonus weapon. Some people that havent looked at jps thread from 2017 explaining this think that discoverer will give them 120% more loot bonus (like it would on mobs) when its actually giving them 21%. Sure that may be their fault they dont look at jps thread from last year or maybe its everyone on the trade markets fault for overpricing it to 18 when it should be at 2. I thought you might be able to change it in some way so that it will be better for loot running like some think it is, or maybe put something about loot bonus on chests in this thread since its sticky. just want to stop the misconception that discoverer is going to boost your loot runs by a ton so no one gets scammed 18 stacks

 

That Jera and 30% loot bonus item can still be used along with Discoverer, then use some high health pieces like Heroism and you're set for loot runs with a huge amount of loot bonus...it isn't hardly a scam at all. If you think it's overpriced, sell it for cheap.

 

Feel free to clear up any misconception, but make sure don’t accidentally generate the false rumour that Discoverer’s doesn’t give you additional loot bonus on top of your loot build. Becoz no matter how you justify it, a loot build will always have more loot bonus if you use a Discoverer. It’s just it’s less effective in comparison for loot run than loot grind that’s all.

That's the only part of the statement I don't like. Disco is good, but not for grinding mobs. I'd prefer fighting enemies to get loot, but I'm stuck clicking boxes after "just changed servers, no chest for you" messages have stopped filling my chat. Still broken IMO.

I brought up -fire/water, not thunder. I don't really think thunder has been a good idea. That was why I tried to make several variations, so as to minimize the influence of the thunder while still getting it passed. Didn't work, but whatever.

Oh also, here's why positive defense isn't a form of binding. You do not incur losses for not using it in a specific element combo, unlike negative defense. Moreover, positive defense doesn't necessarily align with a specific element or combination. For instance, one might argue that the earth defense on Veekhat's Horns primes it for usage in thunder builds, but you could just as easily use it with say Sagittarius.

0 crit glass cannon builds using post nerf spring and a ttide

With -dex changes ttide almost 100% matches spring dmg; really depressing when you think about it considering most water builds use some form of dex (BPA, DC, etc)

Spring has a strength req, you really should try using earth with spring
