still, in releasing them all as being able to be used together, it should make sense that they should be able to be used together. If they were not able to be released at the time as unusable, then they should stay that way so that it would not break the players trust. Not all players are on the forums/discord, and they have no way of knowing that they are not supposed to be able to be used together. if your able to to make them unusable now, maybe make it so when you wear 2 or more, make it give you text such as "the deus ex machina magical fields seem to be reducing your physical presence" (ik its bad, but hopefully you get the gist), and using multiple hive items gives you a 10% damage and base defense nerf. this would heavily penalize multiple hive use, but still make it possible to use multiple hive items if wanted.

 

That was directed at countburn, but it might also indirectly answer your question. That is how I interpreted it at least. /shrug
@Selvut283 care to clarify that? any plans for roll backs on hive changes? I can see where people are coming from, as the items had to be *somewhat* balanced around multi-hive, but I also think the SP reqs right now are fine. It's not too much more to go from 33 to 40, but some SP tight builds (like a few of my favorite builds) could use those 7 to 14 sps back.

There is not trust being broken here. This is the item team regaining the trust of the players, in their duty to balancing the game. Multi-hive was always unintended, regardless of it being usable on release. Now that these unbalanced god builds are gone, we'll see the game balance return. I was given this build to turn into a 1 or none hive build after the changes: https://wynndata.tk/s/iLrw7U . That is completely fair and balanced amirite? Everyone knew that using those builds was wrong. I was using 1 of those builds till I got involved with the community and saw what it did to the game. As @WynnChairman said:

The reason you know that the hive changes are happeing is because of this thread and people spreading word about it.

basically this ^^ also on that note.. mods dont know anything more than you guys do about the changes we make ._. the only mods who have those sick leeks of whats going on are Selv and Motoki because they are part of the IM team. And we are definitely not going to make jp write down things like "hey guys you know double hive is not intended" in the news section. We stated several times both in game as well as on the forums and discord that double hive is not intended and literally EVERYONE who knows SOMETHING about builds knew for a fact that double hive was never intended. Also.. lets be real we all know what the wynn community is like (no offence guys) If i told you... hey guys its kinda annoying that you abuse this set of items in a really op as fuck way... would you guys stop? Hell no you would come up with 58456468486 different variations of that build and try to optimize it further.
And finally... you wanted an official statement about double hive not being intended... well atm you can still double hive but now you all know that its not intended and that its going to get fixed x) So go get creative and make new builds.
