Here’s the thing then, Black should be slightly higher than it’s current damage bc it’s thunder / fire based
(Fire damage has thunder esque damage range) something like Judas a level 87 wand still has 3k~ more damage, and 1k more when black has courage specials, so right now I don’t think black is op, it does below average damage, nerfing the sp reqs make it an even worse option for end game

 

Spin has like 10% of the cast time of meteor

 

You could get 100 strength with a offensive build to get 14k, and that's not even including Courage damage. Tl;dr it needed a nerf, because one day element defense will be fixed.

So why not buff base damage and lower atk speed to fast, and when ele def gets fixed nerf it back?
No way in hell its getting fixed in the next update

 

The only reason Black is op is because it is so sp loose that it can get the 100+ Strength which bumps up it's damage a lot..

 

Your losing quite a bit of mana steal for it, I think focusing on mr is better

I got 9/4s mana in that build.

 

I think this item needs a (small) nerf too. It has high +intelligence (8 at max) and high +defense (8 at max too) with 3/4s Mana Regen at max and no negative IDs with not too bad health and +80 defense in Water and Fire and no other negative defense. The other two IDs aren't that good but don't do anything bad. That item also has [0/3] Powder Slots which makes it pretty good too. So I think that deserves a nerf. Maybe give it some negative IDs (?)

Does every item need to be super op with a major downside? Can’t some items like this stays as generally good enough?

There’s basically no good mana regen chestplate with decent hp besides Aquarius, this is basically one of the few options. It’s not abusable nor is it a overused option, why can’t we just let it stay the same?

 

Looks great on paper, but the thing is so vague that it has no direct synergies. It's splash able, but it's neither too splashable nor too synergetic.

 

Good to see Stardust getting a bit knocked down, but what about Black? I personally never saw a really effective use for it ._.
