    Well let me answer with a question: Why doesn't everybody use the same build then?

    Did you also note that damage isn't everything in a melee build?

    Abilities like mobility, defenses, lifesteal, and Mana Steal certainly are very important to maintaining your onslaught.

    Centipede +25% ws, almost every melee build comes with mana steal (which you don't need because it's a melee build), and most mellee nuilds come with enough hp and "tankyness" to survive long enough to spam enough dmg. Take alka melee or flameshot builds for example. Alka is pretty hard to use with a melee build, yet, use statue and you can kill most bosses in seconds. Likewise with flameshot, apoc, grim, and others. I still see no benefit in using those two items, when you have super-fast speed already. If you do, you can simply use LS and MS items. You don't need to be a cancerous derp with poison and all that (Poison being useless in pve at most cases).


    Anyway, enjoy your build. I am not going to stop you.

    Doesn't have positive water defense until you apply water powders, but then you are wasting powder slots. (Burnout Nerf)
    Good luck getting positive defenses, more than 12k hp, Super Fast melee, and positive ws.
    No most melee builds do not.

    You also didn't answer my question.

    • Melee %
    • Element damage % (The type you are dealing)
    • Walk Speed
    • Exploding
    • Mana Steal
    • Life Steal

    Super fast melee builds have been rampaging the meta for a little while now, so this is nothing new, the only difference being that this is an Assassin build instead of Warrior.

    In fact, there have been multiple Assassin builds like this - for Grimtrap and Wallbreaker alike.

    So like removing almost all %melee on tier attack items and compensating them with ws and slightly better defenses (if they removed melee% on centipede, they could probably give it less -fire defense).

    Then adding more Puppeteer/Taurus/Stinger like items?

    I would argue that that video is not really relevant cause it focuses more or exclusively on PvP. Wynn has made it INCREDIBLY clear that PvE>PvP right now.

    Additionally he said that hard nerfing should only be used in extreme cases... killing Qira eZ in a matter of a few seconds does sound a bit extreme to me x)

    Which is why builds like this is on the highest priority to fix/nerf/balance
    *0% Neutral Damage bug
    *Over Powered Attack Speed ID
    *Exploding-Lifesteal
    All unintended to be this strong but ended up that way
    It even can use War Scream-Life Steal, but it does not even need it
    Ironically he is using powders they way they are supposed to be used, but ended up completely overpowering Cancer's debuffs with them.
    After seeing this I felt that Cancer's Attack speed needed to be dropped to atleast a base of 4 or even 3 from it's previous base of 10.
    Also I still firmly believe that Attack Speed should not be effected by an ID roll and always be fixed at it's base value.
    Or even make Attack Speed only slightly effect your DPS, by adding a multiplier to almost entirely counter it, by making it have DPS of an item at that Attack Speed.
    Basically Super Fast items have higher DPS then Super Slow, so rather then having the DPS remain constant I would like it to reflect the DPS of a weapon at that Attack Speed.
    That "nerf" would breath new life in Attack Speed and still be balanced for the most part(Imagine the 1 shotting capabilities of a Cataclysm reflecting super slow level stats because of Taurus).

    With a base of 3 on Cancer, there would still be Super Fast with Ignition, so that wouldn't work.

    Ideally Cancer would not be usable with any regular version of melee or spell, having something like the Specialist's % dmg except negative and on both melee and spell.

    Similarly, others items that boost tier attack speed wouldn't have %dmg buffs and instead a little ws or defense alleviation as compensation. *cough* CoI, Centipede*cough*. I could even see Centipede trading in its 35% melee (which never should have been higher than or approached the melee % of Pisces/Breakdown/Aries) for a little bit of defense alleviation, so quick melee builds aren't locked into Hephaestus/Gaea.

    A cool advantage that Heavy Melee builds should have had would have been the ability of casting spells effectively. While armor associated with Heavy Melee does not have the same -% spell buffs as Quick Melee, it really isn't oriented towards it, considering that only Pisces/Breakdown (both Helmets btw) were slightly related to the idea. Spells are very useful for melee builds in mobility and the creation of confusion, so it would be very nice if these builds would utilize them more.

    As shown, most Heavy Melee builds are only at their best with Stinger, which would be used with Attack Speed items were it not for its huge -Tier Attack Speed.

    I'd also like to point out that Heavy Melee counterparts also have higher sp costs for some reason: Taurus with 90 Str in comparison to CoI with 0 stat reqs, Pisces with 70 Int and 70 Str (140 total) in comparison to Centipede with 60 Dex, 45 Str, and 30 Agil (135 total).

    Cancer's original designed purpose is to max out the player's attack speed but kills the melee or damage so it can inflict poison at a high rate. Nerfing attackspeed is incredibly counterintuitive, even nerfing melee is unnecessary, coz using cancer in any melee builds will make you more glass and inflict much less damage than other options. How jacky made it OP is just by ignoring the low damage and rely on powder passive and specials for damage, which any ordinary melee builds can do so as well. Also may I add that cancer in this form of melee builds only work with a fire weapon, conventional earth weapons does not worth with cancer coz otherwise it would be ultra glass cannon.

    So cancer actually does nothing wrong, it's just player's perception on it letting attack speed jumping from super slow to super fast make it seems op
