From what I understand, drawing humans (aside from the head) is just draw a crapton of triangles?

actually, i think i made a thread about how to draw people (manga style) some time ago in DEC/31/2015
but i guess i can summarize here

head:

-draw a circle, a circle stencil, or just click once with a really big brush size (just get a circle mk?)
-(front view)

-put a curved line somewhere through the center of the line, bent toward the directiuon the person is facing
-put a similar line halfway between the center line and the bottom of the circle

-(side view)

-put a straight line straight down the middle of the circle, angled towards the direction the person is facing
-put another line straight across the middle line across the center of the circle
-put lines parrallel to the cross lines on the side and bottom of the circle
-put lines halfway between the cross lines and outside lines, you should get a hash pattern​

-(back view)

-make a S-shaped line somewhere through one side of the circle, more towards one side to angle where the person is facing
-put a curved line somewhere through the center of the line, curved through the S
-put a similar line halfway between the center line and the bottom of the circle​

-now it's just a matter of connecting the dots, because you made them yourself with all of those cross points

-when drawing the head, leave some space because the temples are slightly larger than the chassis you made
-i guess you could say... the neck is a pain in the neck to draw (kill me)​

everything is a stick figure.
how you draw this stick figure does not exactly matter, but for me personally i model them after skeletons
theres also a lot of proportioning that has to be done and other shit like that,
so maybe buying a model mannequin is a good idea if you dont have a good mental image​
