    currently, when you ignore someone, their messages in shoutbox look like this:

    my suggestion is, make it show nothing instead of *ignored*, so we dont know when the ignored people are talking and the chat doesnt get spammy

    I'm thinking we keep ignored, but use your suggestion as a seperate feature such as blocking people

    This is so you know when they talk shit about you and such

    I support this. Everytime i see *ignored* i get tempted to click "unignore" which makes ignoring in the first place pointless.

    I feel that sometimes the overbearing nature of the chat really takes away from the experience since there are quite a few people that love to "express" themselves a lot and even guild chats are guilty of this. I'd like to have the option of potentially muting various aspects of chat, ignoring specific people and so.

    Having the message just become a "Ignored" is about as useful as the "!#@% " replacements to cursing.
