Mage/Dark Wizard Help I Need Something To Solo Hive

Hello, this post is very early, as the next time I can play is Christmas, but I think it’s better to see what I need first. So I am playing a level 100 mage, who hasn’t completed LI or Hive, and I would like to complete hive to get the gear I need for LI first. So I cane here to ask: does anybody have a build (or multiple builds) that can solo Hive for a mage?
Requirements:
No mythics
No Hive items
No LI items
No untradeable quest items
(Also I would prefer no Wyble items, but if they’re a must then I’m fine with it)

I know those are a lot of constraints, but I have no friends to help me with Hive, so...

Wait, just realized I’ll probably be playing next after 1.18 comes out... which adds custom items... oh

 

If by custom items you mean the crafting thingy then yeah probably. However, I do not personally know how well they will do versus other items and I would rather wait till the update drops before focusing on crafting to see how they fair in the higher levels.

 

Yeah, you have a point...

 

There are some areas where a good crafted item may come in handy. For example, the lack of a good air spell ring (outside of Diamond Steam Ring) means that a crafted ring might work very well there (the current best options on my planned air build seem to be Lodestone and Marvel).
