    wynncraft devs are clearly trying their hardest to make professions screwed over because they realized that the mechanic is just kinda stinky and way too grindy

    i agree that it's kind of dumb to just screw over proffers this way but like for people playing ironman it is very based (because they can get lq gear without investing 200+ hours of gp on a prof that they can only utilize on ironman)

    idk maybe nerf the ing drops so its still more efficient to grind but maybe not remove them completely


    also the skill argument in TNA is kinda wack since essentially you're a party and your skill responsibility is split in four so if one person randomly gets 1 shot (does happen void holes suck) its not the end of the world

    Raid rewards really aren’t that great and the raid is still the hardest in the game. Materials have already been removed, nerfing the pool overall is just insult to injury.

    ill give my honest opinion on this
    for me, its not about "tna ruining proffers" or something like that, its just that tna is a really good way of making money, and i mean a REALLY good way of making money. With a proper team, people can clear tna easily in like 6-8mins or even less (the boss basically becomes a living punching bag with a guard user making the boss stay completely still in a corner), and ive seen people making way too much money per hour from this, completely overshadowing the rates of proffing and ing-grinding, and most of the time even making more money than lring with those rates

    from what ive seen the average tna party in pfinder is probably going to fail the raid

    and ill be honest, running tna for your 10th time or higher isnt really that fun anymore
    (dont dropkick me for this ;w;)

    Why would the hardest content in the game not also be the most rewarding content in the game? Why would raiders not deserve more rewards for doing what requires the most risk in runes and investment in skill and teamwork?

    It feels to me as if people like you are the problem with any new content being added to the game. Whenever something new comes out people want it nerfed into the ground because it makes too many waves, it gives too much more compared to what is already in the game. Isn't that the whole point? Aren't we trying to find things to do in the endgame that aren't mindlessly lootrunning over and over again? Can't we make money another way? You're not even saying only Dernic materials should be removed from the loot pool of the raid, you're saying the loot pool should be nerfed entirely. So what, people who finish the raid make less than even a few liquid emeralds and random junk runes? Or have an even worse chance at tomes?

    I've heard this song and dance a million times before. People who complained that Diamond items were locked behind Legendary Island. People who complained about the Forgery mythic drop chance. People complaining about ingredient drops from the Canyon Colossus. It genuinely frustrates me to see the rewards for anything I want to do nerfed into the ground because it hurts the viability of spending hundreds of hours on lootrunning or professions.

    Yeah what H07oh said; logically if something is harder, the rewards should reflect that. The raid rewards even with materials didn't reflect that.

    I honestly don't want to nerf the loot pool overall, I only wanted to remove mats. But other memebers of the CT were very in favor of nerfing them A LOT.

    the materials i guess was fine and maybe even makes sense because honestly proffas deserve something for wasting that much of their time :troll:

    but the rest is fine (except maybe key amounts)

    Wynncraft as a whole isn't particularly difficult, but TNA is kind of just, objectively the most mechanically difficult content in game. So saying it's flat out easy feels really disingenuous.


    I think the rates could possibly be reduced, but not removed. Them being in the loot pool only helps the community in its entirety, excluding an incredibly arbitrary money making method that only a select few players had a grip over in the economy. Amplifier/Powder/Key rates are also incredibly high for little reason and honestly just seems like a disaster for balancing future raid rewards, so those could also probably be reduced, but keep the raw emerald amounts as is.

    I am urging the team to reconsider. I've been playing the game for over half a decade and the biggest complaint I have always heard no matter what was always "there is nothing to do in the endgame besides lootrun." It baffles me that every single time the team seemingly introduces a new way to make money to combat the lootrun-profession endgame dichotomy, it is subsequently nerfed into oblivion after community complaints and then we're back to sixteen months of lootrunning and waiting for DXP weekends to spam out professions before the next major update.

    I actually have been indifferent towards removing materials, but hearing some members of the ct want to nerf rewards as a whole makes me sad. It feels like with TNA we finally have a really interesting piece of endgame content thats not a unfair and has a ton of replayability. It feels like Wynncraft finally got what it needed since day 1 and I’m worried harsher nerfs than just removing materials will kill it.

    H07oh and so many people have made many solid points on making some good LE and rewards outside of having to resort to lootrunning/boring mythic shaman grinding. For a person that's long-time lurked playing and trying to scrape by with what I could get out of the content in the game without knowing what forums, discord or such were back then: if they get nerfed in the ground that would be disappointing as heck.

    My fun honestly comes from queuing up randomly in the party finder. It was a hilarious mess at first on the first-second day but getting people who have completely different classes, yet know how to combat against the raid is quite fun. That, and seeing what creativity of builds people put together is what gives me a great experience overall. If the rewards were decreased, the incentive and drive for people to run raids and meet other new people and such would drop greatly.

    there is a genuine argument for removing materials entirely, given how mats dropping from tna more or less destroys an entire revenue stream. however, gathering literally feels like playing a mobile game and removing the monopoly that some proffers (derogatory) have on mats isn't necessarily bad or unhealthy for the community.

    and to the ct members who want to kill tna's rewards: further nerfing tna's loot pool would be understandable (key, amp, and rune rates are a bit absurd). although, i and many others feel raw rewards should stay as is, since the raw le rewards from tna are something that's finally competitive with the chest clicking simulator known as endgame money making in wynncraft.
