SOOO I am lvl 37 and got a pretty nice drop:
    Chained Pixels
i also snapped a photo for my friend because i was so excited

had to remove the picture, because it was a link. Cant post links before 10 posts.

    try : https :// i.imgsafe . org / 6451328cbd . jpeg (remove all space)

So what happened that made me sad?
I wanted to show somebody my golden trousers, so he could tell me the worth. (I paid 4 EB for Identification)
I put the leggings in the trade (AND DID NOT ACCEPT). Somebody started throwing trash at the ground and it got picked up in my inventory (heal 10 <3 potions). The other guy cancelled the trade and the trousers leggings did not go back in to my inventory. They dissapeared. Im so angry and sad that i created an account to warn you. This is definitly a Trade scam maybe you have an idea how i can get them back??

I am sorry for your loss, but sadly there's a no refund policy for lost items.
But who knows, maybe some nice members of the community can provide you with a replacement?

This doesn't even belong in this section.

This is probably not a scam - it's probably a bug, or most likely exploitation of the bug to make you lose your items. Either way, it could have been a partner thing, where a guy who's acquainted with the guy who you were showing it to threw items into your inventory to make you lose your leggings.

This could have been avoided if you had just taken a screenshot (either with Minecraft's screenshot feature and uploading the screenshot to Imgur or another image hosting website, or puush.me).

Unfortunately, your item cannot be retrieved. However you can easily regain leggings and emeralds from doing loot runs or grinding mobs that are close to your level. Also what happened is probably not a scam. Just don't do trades near the trash can or crowded area. Also some other tips: Whenever you are engaged in a trade GUI (powder merchants; moving items in/out of bank and class; trading with players; item identifiers, item buyers, any merchants) make sure you have slots available for possible items to return. If you are identifying with emeralds blocks, leave space for EB and Emeralds to fall back into. When collecting daily rewards, sometimes there are more items than you can hold, so you toss those extras on the ground -- but stand away from the pile to prevent those floor items to fill up your inventory after you removed one item to sell to the item buyer. The emeralds that come from selling that one item need to fall back into empty slots otherwise these emeralds just disappear because there is no space in your inventory. Stand on a block if possible before you begin the "trade".
