The only way to fix the initial problem is simply to create an ocean quest where the player finds a magical sea wizard who explains that he is the reason why the rivers and other water flows in Wynncraft are all wacky and devoid of logic

(The wizard is far more powerful than any other boss in the game, the first player who eventually manages to kill him solo will cause the entire map to be changed into a new map where all the rivers, ponds and ocean follow real-life water physics now)

 

Ok the purplemerald you clearly are undeducated, because i already have a proposition for this. Basically we have a guy named Harold twain. He has water magic, similar to theoricks ice or rickeos fire or maels air magic. He lived on twain lake in the nesaak tundra, and enchanted that waterfal in the mountain to spill out magic water, which filled the rivers, oceans, and lakes of wynn and gavel with magic water that defied hydrology. Before this there was no water, it was empty canyons and troughs. The water made the oceans with big waves, and later the mages calmed it.

He lived in 1548 before portal.
He was unrelated to the other twains, his name and residence a mere coincedence.
