How to loot mythic chest or item?

Hi Everyone !

I’m still new to Wynncraft compared to many of you
I have a lvl 107 Assassin, and I recently started with a Knight as well
(English is not my native language, so thank you for your understanding)

I wanted to ask a question about Mythic items.

I’m wondering what the best way to obtain them is nowadays. I already managed to get one once from a chest in Corkus, so I know it’s possible from normal loot chests, even if I imagine the chances are insanely low.

I’ve also done several lootruns with pretty good Loot Quality and decent reward pulls, but I’ve never gotten one, even from the final reward chest.

So I was wondering:

• Do Mythic items mainly come from loot chests? Since I already got one from a normal chest, I assume they can also drop there.
• For lootruns, is it better to focus on end reward pulls, or prioritize Loot Quality and chest drops during the run?
• Which content is generally the best for obtaining Mythic items?
• And overall, what method would you recommend the most if someone wants to farm a Mythic today?

I’m not looking for any specific Mythic item, I simply want to better understand the best way to obtain one.

Hopefully this post can also help some other players. Maybe this topic has already been discussed before, but I personally didn’t come across anything about it. I thought it could still help improve everyone’s understanding of these items haha.

Usually people acquire mythics from lootrunning, there is one meta strategy that involves getting them from the end reward chest and one that involves getting them from chests during the run. The first is known as sacrifice stacking, and I think the second has to do with getting the mission materialism and loot bonus/quality gear and boons.

 

Oh ok that confirm what i was thinking ! I was trying so much time the second strategy you mentioned, Materialism you say? I'll have to check what that mission does again, i dont remember anymore

Id recommend looking at the build guide and a lootrunning guide up to date with Fruma if you want to really get into it. Warrior is a meta pick for Lootruns and it's a very fun activity.
