Guide How To Install Wynntils And Wynn Expansion (v2.0.2)

Thank you both for the explanation. The two explanations have cleared it up for me. I use Wynn Expansion and would agree that I have seen other players through walls if they were friends, part of a party or guild (CSSTs being one if you were in the CBBT). So, I definitely will turn that feature off.

 

Since I have WynnTils with Wynn Expansion, the highlight of un-ID's item doesn't work :c

The picture show my own Ethereal and the wand closer to me, it's an un-ID's item Rare and they are no highlight like my Ethereal (And my option is correctly configurate)

I'm having a problem.. I'm not really good with mods and such and this keeps on popping up:

 

You need to use the 1.11.2 version of Expansion because you're running 1.11.2. Here's the website that contains the correct version: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/unofficial-shcm-wynn-expantion/files/2511897

 

So I don't know if this still is getting updated but I installed both mods and noticed that they have some features in common. For example I now have two XP displays and both mods have item outline features? Before I saw this thread I just used WynnForge (which isn't even mentioned here). So how do I configure these mods the right way so I don't have overlapping features?

 

There will be some incompatibilities between Expansion and Wynntils; however, it is not known to cause any crashes. For the ones that overlap each other or have same features, generally, you should use Wynntils' said feature and turn off Expansion's, if possible.

 

I don't really like people who advantagise themselves, also the recent Wynntils bans? What can we do about that? I know we can use the latest version and all but still risky.

 

The moderators advise playing on the server using a vanilla client. However, Wynntils is allowed and should not be punishable. Unfortunately, there have been false bans that the anticheat has automatically warranted, but if you do happen to be punished, you can appeal, and you will definitely be unbanned without having the ban count against your strikes.

 

I'd rather not risk it and stay vanilla

 

As of 1.18 no one will get false-banned anymore. Also bump to avoid eventual locking.

What does Wynntills actually do? It'd be a nice idea to have this as a section on this thread :D

 

I suggest joining the Wynntils Discord server and create a ticket there as I am not sure of why that is happening.

Yes, that would be nice, but I wanted to dedicate this thread as an installation guide, plus, the original thread of Wynntils, which is linked in the guide, already has that information.
