How Do You Feel About The Ct? And Why?

As in you haven't completed any of them or you haven't started them at all?

 

I started the first of the four and it was just sooooo bad that I quit after a few minutes. I have no desire to do the others

 

You quit after the play, which was intentionally meant to be portrayed poorly to emphasize how the Dwarves exaggerate their history. If you're not even willing to go further with the quest, what gives you the right to say the entire thing is bad?

 

I mean you must be really fucking bored to consider these things important at all, and if you spent money to get there... isn't that kinda P2W?

What's the point of updating a game at all? people don't play it and a good update clearly won't bring it back to life or keep it alive

Castles sucks because they don't update it, that mode has soo much potential yet it is left into the dust because people cannot read more than 1 word and get bored or simply do what I do and just experiment with what I get

If the hype dies down and the playerbase drops, it will get the treatment of the rest of the server, which is seeing an update every 3 years
The thing is, The Pit has managed to stay relevant after 1 year of no updates, and the game itself is really small, if it managed to stay relevant with just that, I think that means something

And as I said again, The Pit isn't the only example of this, Zombies could have been a lot more but they decided to throw it to the Arcade Lobby so it died
The same goes for pretty much all the Classic Lobby, it is just a graveyard with dead games that haven't seen a content update in years

BedWars and SkyWars would also be a lot smaller if they didn't get constant updates, but they do get pretty much monthly updates, hell, BedWars gets new content EVERY SINGLE WEEK (The item rotation)
Of course they won't die, they are the only games that get attention in the server, and that's bad, because the moment these two games die, Hypixel also dies, that's why you can't rely on 1 game, once its hype dies the entire network falls

Also discoveries are a good feature, they reward you for literally exploring, you all wanted more reward for exploring so there you guys go
Bank pages were requested for a long time and they finally added it

ah you're right. it's completely okay to basically steal peoples money and take away the xp they paid for, my b. I wasn't actually affected by this at all (my total level is like 900 something) and the only thing I've ever bought were VIP and VIP+ however I have quite a few friends who were affected by this and it bothers me

nah, castle only sucks because all you get are trash teammates who do absolutely nothing. unless you actually go in with a party or have at least one other good player then you wont win
the only games I play are bedwars, murder mystery, and skyblock. I don't really care about the classic lobby and I don't play anything else and honestly even if bedwars didn't get updates anymore I doubt it would die. a lot of people don't even play the dream modes anyway unless it's for the quest

all they give are xp and you have to run all over the map and go everywhere you've already been to in order get them all which is just boring. the extra bank pages and some of the new items were good but how is that content?

Being honest, if you go to a 80 player minigame expecting good teammates, you already messed up
Also Castles is probably the least competitive game in the entirety of BedWars, raging over noobs in it is just dumb, just enjoy the game instead of thinking simply about winning
I won't deny seeing people nuke beds and then acting like "Oh sorry I didn't realize" pisses me off too though, the reason why is completely understandable

I mean yeah I can see how you can get pissed off but honestly, spending money on a game just so you can speed up a proccess in them means bad

Yes. Yes it was a bug fix. What most people don't know was that it wasn't nearly as complex of a bug as literally everyone thought, Wynn just didn't have anyone on the team who had experience enough to fix it. It took jp literally less than a week to fix the bug, and we were testing that stuff in a matter of days after he joined the team.

Ok, but you still didn't do the rest of the quest or the quest line. You base it entirely based off of one portion.

 

Regardless of that Wynn’s storyline is still completely emotionless with very few interesting or repeatable characters and overall its just stale as fuck. A good book could easily be read multiple times by someone who enjoys it, but I don’t think I’ve even enjoyed half of the quests I’ve done in Wynn, it’s just a reward disguised within a bad narrative.

 

Fair enough, but where me and you differ is I care about both story and mechanics, which I believe the MH quest line has overall good mechanics (especially the war scene in MH part 4 and the overall fetching of MH part 3).

 

i wish there was a more negative option on the poll than just "I really don't care anymore..."

the item team is really cool to chill with on #class_builds and they do an amazing job on working on the items. currently hyped for the tri-element changes, hoping there wont be such an abundance of fodder items after it

the other ct i cant even name a single member of, though i do appreciate the fruits of their work like the quality of the whole in-game map

To be honest the Content Team itself is always trying to get feedback and fix the issues in quests, builds etc but people mostly ask for changes in the mechanics that we can't fix ourselves, last week I was literally on #general asking people to complain about quests (https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/dwarves-and-doguns-feedback.251395/ How this thread by @Oculism was made)

@Selvut283 (One of, if not the most experienced writer on our team)'s just finished re-writing/editing most of the MH questline dialogue with improvements (Different dialogue, not more lines btw) that'll be pushed with the 1.19 update ^^

To be completely honest, I don't know much about the CT at all, barely anything. I only know that they do it voluntarily and in their free time, they give it their work and try to improve the Wynncraft experience, and although its not always perfect, you can't expect everything to be perfect either, with the CT growing and shrinking each month, new players coming and old ones leaving. I just appreciate their work and say "Thank you, guys, for your efforts. Keep up your good work."

 

To be fair wynn is the best mmorpg I’ve played because its the only mmorpg I’ve ever played
