How do you even play trickster?

Title explains most of it, I'm an acrobat main trying to learn trickster so that I can do some decent damage in tna, and every time I put on a trickster build I only deal like a third of my acrobat damage (with cata)
Also some tips to get through tna on trickster would be helpful.

 

Pure trickster isn’t as good as trick-o-bat for tna.
I’m honestly in the same boat (acro main learning trick-o-bat) and I’ve found that cycle is smthing like.
Smoke (normally toward the ground for lure+dmg bonus) -> Multi -> Dash (into Greg) -> Spin x2-3 and then repeat dash spin? Until multi or smoke runs out and then you add it back into cycle. I notice that you tend to stay above the target because of pirouette if you time if correctly so I think you look for that.
