    Just become an active member on the forums. Be helpful, kind, and other stuff. She was a one off case. Most mods have been part of the community longer, the only thing you have to have is patience. That, and know that it's unlikely you will ever get it (I'm not trying to make you feel bad. But so few mods are chosen every so often, that it's unlikely you'll ever get mod).
