How Do I Add Images?

Hey! I can't figure out how to add images to a thread. Does anyone else know?

 

Click on the image icon on the toolbar, and insert a direct link to an uploaded image when it prompts you to do so. I'd recommend imgur, since you can simply drag and drop / ctrl+v and image there to privately upload it:


Alternatively, you can use "Upload a File" to directly upload an image to the forums, but that'll leave some ugly icons at the bottom of your post:

 

Do you need or create an account or anything on imgur to privately upload images?

 

No, unless you want to publish them

 

I click "New Post", Choose Photo/Video, then just press "Hidden" and copy the link?

 

Yep, that's the long way to do it. There isn't really even a need to click on "hidden"; By default, you have no other option, hence, it's going to be hidden anyways. One thing to keep in mind is though, like with any site, that you copy the image's direct address. Not the full site's it appears on.

I tried doing that. None of the images are actually showing up though. Any idea why?

For example, instead of using https://imgur.com/yWb85kn or alike, right click the image, and click where it says "copy image address", "copy image location", or something similar depending on your browser to get this: https://i.imgur.com/yWb85kn.png
