How 1.9 May Effect Wynn

Well, after seeing some of LogDotZips 1.9 minecraft snapshot news updates I started thinking..... This could either break Wynn, or be a whole new opportunity. I'm think that since there will be new attack speeds on weapons, all classes will need to be rebalanced, and with axes and hoes becoming a good weapon, a new class may need to be added!! Comment your class ideas with a main weapon of axe or hoe

 

Yes, yes, I'm sure everyone is very fascinated by this, but let's wait 'till Wynncraft actually updates to full 1.8 please.

 

Well. 1.9 is coming soon and most likely will be here when, or a small bit after gavel comes

 

I think that the stuff shown in Logdotzip's video is irrelevant, as shown in the Gavel teaser the mods figured out how to retexture the same item into different 3d weapons with different stats

 

Even though 1.9 is coming out, Wynn hasn't even fully updated to 1.8. I doubt they will make something with 1.9 just a bit after Gavel.
I'd even wait since 1.9 would have bugs, so Wynn should wait till 1.9 has like no bugs.

 

I think that it will not affect Wynncraft negatively, as remember that the attack speed can be changed. Actually, 1.9 will only cause good things: Thousband of new skins, The adition of the Armor tag, better improvment (Less Lag), Mob's IA fixed and more medieval roleplay experience with the shields.

True, shields will be a whole new thing for Wynn and although I'm sure they will be awesome, I sure as hell hope we can customize them

 

1.9 won't be added to Wynn for a while. It's only half-way into 1.8. Also, they'll just use plugins to keep things the same.

 

I think that the duel willing might destroy the spells. But the new blocks can be a great edition to the server. Also, costume shulkers.

But can we skip 1.8? I mean, wynncraft is still 1.7!

 

Wynncraft is on a 'BungeeCord', similar to most popular servers, meaning it allows for 1.7 AND 1.8 gameplay. I'm sure when 1.9 is officially released Salted will be working on a new 1.8-1.9 BungeeCord.
