World -=housing=-

Hello everyone!

I would like to present my suggestion to you, Housing!

You must be at least VIP.

Anyway, this is based on Hypixel Housing, and you can choose these themes:

Jungle, Mesa, Desert, Plains, Roots of Corruption

They can be bought using GC.

There are all kinds of blocks you can use, I can't explain them all! The blocks shown, but not limited to, are in this spoiler:

Oak Wood Planks, Wooden Door, Sandstone, Birch Wood Planks, Oak Wood, Quartz Block

Block sets can be found randomly in Daily Rewards or Loot Chests.

You can change the weather to Sunny, Raining, Snowing or Stormy.

You can also view other people's plots.

 

Say add player housing agian!

 

This suggestion was actually made before, and a lot of times. Wynncraft is more costume adventures and less homes. Spending time building will waste the time you could invest on leveling up.


Also, making this feature for VIP only is gonna make a lot of rankless people (like me) really mad at the server.

This will also make people to be more aggressive against Wynn, because they copied Hypixel, and say that we are not better then Mineplex (the ultimate insult for every server)

 

Ehh... I've seen this kind of idea a lot of times, and this one seems like a direct copy of Hypixel's. Housing is kind of a minigame feature, and I'd prefer picking your own little place and "claiming" it as your home instead of being teleported to some island and making a house there.

I propose housing! You walk into a random house and "roleplay" that it's your house.
Tadaa, housing.

 

Housing has been suggested countless times and it's been shot down every time because 1) we don't have enough server room to store all the houses 2) Wynncraft is an RPG, if you want housing just go to Hypixel or something and 3) most people who suggest housing don't even make a detailed, thought-out suggestion, it's just "housing pls, we should have plots and blocks and stuff"

So... Time to explain why this wont be implemented into Wynncraft.

First off, our servers cannot handle generating a whole island for each player who ever logged in. That's over 10,000 islands, with around 150x150x150 block area (including air) each... So 150^3*10,000 = 33,750,000,000 blocks generated simultaneously.


Best case scenario: Lets say the server is fried so bad it can barely function, and that every hour, 1000 islands are loaded and unloaded (not individual), then in a day 24,000 islands are loaded and unloaded, meaning 81,000,000,000 blocks are loaded and unloaded daily. If every chunk (16x16x256) of that is compressed, it would take an immense amount of memory, which simply, Wynn doesn't have.

Oh and VIP only is just asking for hate threads when those things get added.

 

I just thought VIP only is because to save more space...?

 

Suggested hundreds of times. Been proven impossible hundreds of times.
Sometimes I wonder if people who suggest stuff like this know how to operate the "search" tool.

Wynncraft is an MMORPG have you seen any MMO's with houses?

Plus you "based" this idea off hyipixel, by base you mean completely copied that entire idea and give it to wynn, then you got the wrong defination of "based"

Housing would die and would not be used, just like Wizard Fortress.

And making it VIP? Now thats just unfair, other players should be allowed to play housing
