World Hotbar Item Drop Features And Functions!

Ever tired of running out of item space? Tired of dropping a white horse into a hopper? Tired of losing legendaries off a cliff? Tired of losing mythics by dropping them? Tired of dropping this in general?

Well, I have 2 suggestions to make to the Wynn Community. They're straightforward and simple, so this thread won't be that long.

1. Hotbar Lock
With this, you pretty much have a command that can probably be added in through a plugin, and you can type /droplock or /itemlock or /hotbarlock or something similar.
Perhaps, this could even be taken a step further, and be configurated to /droplock 1, /droplock 2, /droplock 3-6 or /droplock all. (you can't drop slots 7, 8 and 9 anyways).
This way, you will no longer have to worry about accidentally pressing Q and dropping items worth stacks of LE into hoppers or accidentally having other people pick them up!

2. Item pickup configuration
The developers could implement a command that allows you to pick up specific categories of items.
This would be very beneficial for people who are grinding and constantly running out of inventory space by picking up junk or crappy items.
Possible commands for this include:
/pickup junk no (prevents picking up of junk items such as rotten flesh)
/pickup normal no (prevents picking up of normal tier items)

This could be developed further into:
/pickup normal chestplate no
/pickup normal dagger no

I would personally enjoy this:
/pickup none (you don't pick up anything)
stacked with
/pickup emeralds yes
/pickup legends yes
/pickup rares yes
/pickup mythics yes
/pickup wands yes

This way, I would only pick up emeralds, legends, rares, mythics, and wands whilst grinding! Saves you having to clean out inventory space, which could potentially lead to you taking damage!
Please leave some suggestions down below!

 

There is already a suggestion with a thousand supporters on item locks.

I swear to god I'd quit wynncraft because I'm dumb enough to forget why I can't pickup daggers ;-;

At least it's well made and not like a two sentence suggestion with spelling mistakes.

 

Just bind your drop key to nothing. Do this by pressing escape then go into options, then controls, press the place where you can change the drop key, press escape again and then it won't be bound to any key.

It's really not that hard to throw items out....


There have been plenty of item lock threads in the past and many with more supporters than this. If you want item locks right now, play Wynncraft Enhanced.

 

Binding it to P works too because then you can still drop things.
And Wynn Enhanced is for cancer only.
(Did I say cancer? I meant curse.)
(Wait no same thing.)

2. Might as well remove junk items. No thanks, it just kill immersion and makes the game easier than it already is.

 

And that's the reason I don't use Wynncraft Enhanced. Besides, being careful is always the best way to keep items safe.. until the game screws you over xP
Personally I don't like the idea of binding the drop key to P because I have to move my whole hand to press it. I've bound my drop key to G.

 

Ah, well I bound my inventory to the I key from day one of MC because I used to play WoW and I'm used to it. xD
P is only 2 keys over so it didn't bother me.
