There should be new additions to horses.
Such as, horses should be damageable by mobs and other things, and you have to feed it apples to replenish its health. You can buy apples from apple merchants you can find across provinces.
Also, whenever you press a special key like "R" when you're on a horse, they do the jumping animation, but instead of jumping, they back on their hind legs and "kick". The more often you use the attack, the more you can level it up and make it deal more damage. They could also have their stats such as jump and speed changeable by different kinds of horse armor that can also give them more health.
Iron horse armor could give the horse a jump and slight health increase.
Gold armor could give the horse jump and a slight speed and health increase.
Diamond armor could give the horse speed, jump, and health increases.
