More items means less competition as there's more items to go around, higher supply could lead to lower prices in some cases but the law of supply and pricing isn't set in stone:

https://www.investopedia.com/terms/...aw of demand, the higher the quantity supplied.

"....this means that the higher the price, the higher the quantity supplied."

    You what

not a direct answer from the mods but its safe to say a SHIT TON OF LE WAS DUPED

seriously if people think this is gonna boil over in weeks if not months, wtf?

and even if it does, why are people still complaining about sacrificing a few hours of work for several months of waiting?????

Giant’s bracer sold for 239 stacks
    Ophiuchus sold for 100 stacks
    Freedom sold for 150 stacks
    Freedom sold for 40 stacks
    Warchief sold for 37 stacks
    Fatal sold for 80 stacks
(Most mythics were overpriced and sold for 5-10x the amount they would normally)

That’s hardly any le in All reality, and a week or so of Wynn being up equates to a lot more than a few hours

Lots of people are wondering what proof there is of le being worthless. First of all, my literally 0% monster (every major stat was below 15 percentile) sold for 5.5 stacks on the tm. Before the market went down the first time there were 10+ monsters on the tm and ALL of them except mine were AT LEAST 8 STACKS. When the market came back for a short period, I noticed that every single one of these monsters were gone - even the 20+ stack ones.. So, either they were bought (proof of le being pretty worthless) or taken down (unlikely since mine was bought). You could attribute this to the fact that monster was found to be very good in raids and thus the price is going up since people want them. But, I also checked nearly every other good mythic and I noticed there were absolutely none on the market (discoverer, warp, ignis, resurgence, etc.). My friend's mythics that were on the TM also sold (disco and a pure) albeit maybe not for absurd prices. This shows that nearly all mythics were bought out no matter what the cost was unless monster prices are >20 stacks..... So, essentially you could argue against this as the only proof I have is that monster has gone up 10x its value and this could be b/c its useful in raids but I highly doubt that this would cause it to go up 10-20x in price..... - the dupe had at least some major role in the price spike.

I do believe that some sort of market roll back should happen but find a way to keep levels/xp although I would still be in support of some sort of rollback even if it did not keep levels/xp (i grinded 4 classes to 105 during the dxp but I dont care about them if years of le is worthless).

Selvut said that there are MANY MILLIONS of duped LE

So even if that are only 10 millions that still results in over 150k stacks

kind of a weak argument to bring up monster as there is a big hype about it.

the other mythics are overpriced because people want their mythics to be bought by dupers, thats why they list them for way over market value. this would most likely be fixed if we just wait a few weeks, these prices are nowhere close to what they will actually sell for.

oh and alot of people dont want to list their mythics on market because they are scared a duper will buy them and they will get their le removed with no refunds.

Personally 150k stacks of emeralds to me is not Weeks worth of time of every concurrent player

Also a lot of you aren’t taking into consideration people buying weird items for 200 stacks will immediately get banned and there money will poof out of exsistance, it would be a bigger issue if duper’s laid low and bought mythics at normal prices.

Yes but how long will it take to find enough mythics with these new multiple 100k stacks to get standard prices again?

Only brought up monster because that was my only anecdotal evidence - but other mythics have already sold for absurb prices and even if the prices go back down, the damage is already done and if there are millions of duped le - what if the prices never recover. People are going to have hundreds of stacks because of the absurb prices and they will likely spend those hundreds of stacks on items they might want and since they have so much le they are likely going to cause prices to skyrocket at least for a while and once again since there is millions of le - if the dupers are not banned or anything I dont see the prices going back down to normal any time soon. The people with hundreds of stacks - I dont mean the dupers - I mean the people that sold items for insane prices to dupers.

Prices are determined by supply and demand. Supply is low, demand is the same. Inflation only bolsters the amount people can afford to pay for a mythic, and thus increases the price even beyond what the demand would dictate anyway.

could the mods just track down every abnormal trade and just revert them/ban the buyer if it was very clearly bought using duped money? sure it has to be a huge amount of trades but something HAS to be done assuming we aren't getting a rollback

yeah, i completely understand the argument against completely rolling back (even though I slightly disagree with it), but we can all agree that this market is absolutely fucked.

i think it would be even better, assuming its possible, to just to revert inventories/tm/banks or whatever, although we'll have to wait for a dev or someone to know if its possible

With the amount of LE duped, I’m fairly sure normal ways of removing money would take a year+ to stabilize the economy.

@Saya tbh you should've added a poll on this forum post to see how many people are in favour or not in favour of a rollback, i personally think it would have been very interesting
