Keita thanks the attendee and makes his way home. The day is getting on [or it's getting late or whatever, I don't know what time it actually is] and Keita figures he should probably get some violin practice in. It's pleasant enough outside that instead of taking a bus, like he did to get here, he decides to walk home.

Keita walks back to his apartment which I totally had planned but accidentally forgot to put in the application (I thought up some "experimenting with powers" scenes which is where the orange juice example came from), checking the alleys leading off the street by force of habit.

Well uh, this will either result in a really sad, shocked, or angry Kayla depending on who / how many die.

But uh, before I do a reply, were there a lot of people in the building or was Kayla just doing a 1 on 1 with the father such as a confession of sins or something?

Also, how is the rubble positioned? Is it like stacked on top of her or are big pieces of rubble just forming a cave-in scenario?

 

I'm going to go on top of a nearby building where I can see what happens while staying mostly unnoticed.

After a bit, the show starts. A man in a suit (and green tie for branding) walks up to the stage and starts talking into the microphone.
"Thanks you all for coming out today for our presentation. As I'm sure your all know, Saber Corp has been a leader in introducing technological marvels all over the world, as is our mission statement to make everyday of people's life easier and better..."
He goes on a bit about the company's history (which I'll gladly skip typing out). What's more pressing is you hear a voice behind you.
"Is this VIP seating?"

Big pieces of the rubble is forming a cave-in sorta situation.
About 30 minutes earlier, the church was holding a food drive to feed the needy. Plus some raffles for some extra donations. Then an explosion went off. Several explosions. Incendiary bombs. Anyone that wasn't killed in the initial explosions is probably trapped underneath the rubble as well and suffering from second-degree burns. You couldn't possibly imagine why someone would specifically target this place, might have been a random attack.

You walk through downtown Arost. The city still holds a early 2000's look, but your fond of the rustic appealing (or maybe you hate it, I'm not gonna put words in your mouth). The place has always been artistic and historical, supposedly being founded back when the eastern cost was being colonized. A lot of statues, and parks dedicated to writers and poets who apparently grew up here. A LOT of museums too.

You eventually enter your building. Nothing suspicious on your way.

"We of the Sirona House will no be threatened by the mayor's office to change our principles. We provide healing to all regardless of background because we believe every life has the right to continue living. Miss Sirona doesn't wish to choose sides, she is a neutral force in a world tearing itself apart. Too simple sit there and watch as people die is morally wrong, regardless of who it is. The healing given here is available to every man woman and child, and it'll stay that way." It then goes on to talk about morales, the duty of people to use their talents to aid the world, and how the mayor can basically go suck it.

Kayla only stares at the top of her little cage unable to move. She was shocked and in horror that someone or a group of people actually decided to attack a church... even when it was holding a food drive.

Some rocks began to fall and that made Kayla summon in De Aeris floating next to where she laid. But her hand trembled as she tried to grip on the bow. She didn't want to think that someone could possibly be that evil. Kayla then remembered the people that might be struggling under the rubble. Finally, she mustered the strength to grip on the bow and turn into thin air to reappear outside the rubble.

You haven't exactly done a whole lot.

You reappear out of the rubble what's left of the building. It's completely on fire now. The closest entrance seems to be blocked. And I should probably clarify that your still inside the building.
