Oh, cool I guess I can try ou-
looks at rank
i like this rank though.. not too expensive, just right
Haha all you people in the Northern hemisphere
I have 8 weeks of summer holiday left.
Now I just need an Ok ping and about twice as much money as you do because of exchange rates.
Ok wait, so, How does HERO beta work? Will things be saved? Is all data I create if i go on hero beta going to be deleted when i go back on normal wynn servers? What about when its released to everyone?
For example: I heard bank space is doubled , does this mean that if I put a stack of le or whatever into one of the new bank spaces, when I go back onto non-beta wynncraft it will be gone?
First time having HERO rank when there's a hero beta, sorry if i'm missing anything obvious lol
No progress is saved from beta to main. If you start a class, get to a certain level, or get certain items, it will not transfer to main.
VIP + is the best value rank, I'm not going to lie, but there are still things I want rather than need. Ya know? :P
Cool, hopefully, it comes out soon as I've still got 7 weeks holiday.
Just wanna share my thoughts on this update without any spoilers, it's a real game changer, the best one I've seen yet. This update isn't just about changing the world, adding new content, solving bugs, we've been getting updates like these from the start. This update is transformative, it's re-inventing the game, making it fresh, the same way adding the new powders, skill point system and elements did.
People might think of it as tedious or forced the first week or two after launch, but once people leveled up their new abilities to a certain point and start experimenting with the new currencies through trades, things will start to become interesting (if they aren't already). I don't know if it will fix the current economy (you can't make everyone happy) but it's a really good attempt at doing so.
Also there are places in the world that have been on the map for years (with little or no changes made over time) that have been redone completely, I'm not talking about just Detlas :D
I'm super pleased about this! I can't wait for the map to be updated this time around, the wait will have been worth it c:
when u have VIP+ so ur just waiting for beta to be over so u can play the eco update
YEAHHHH but it's very INSANE.
Heard there are some Quest LE reward changes in beta. Are these permanent? If so how will the total amount of quest le be changed?
I get the strong suspicion that rewards have been reduced overall, although I have no idea what this is intended to accomplish (there's no way this would fix the economy obviously, it's just going to make future players poorer). It's possible that the highest level quest rewards have been changed to shift some of the money towards the Molten Heights quests.
Update - confirmed quest rewards overall are nerfed. Supposedly this is because there are now new methods of making money, although I don't exactly see how this would work. Even if crafted items are competitive with regular items in the market, there isn't exactly going to be a significant increase in demand, only a shift - for the most part, people aren't really going to buy more than they did before.
EXACTLY!!! At best custom items can compete with legendaries, and how much le can u make from legendaries???? Ok face it wynn team! The ONLY two ways to LEGITIMATELY make enough money to trade mythics freely is by either finding them, or multi lvling, and right now this update will only make it more difficult for players to earn money. Be honest. Even selling GODLY legends how often do ppl actually buy??? Exactly!!! Everyone already have all the items they want! They arent going to buy more, because they can CRAFT ITEMS THEMSELVES!!! At best i can see u being able to make 2-3 raw from custom items. This is a failure of an update
I think good crafted items will be worth slightly more than good legendaries, in general (I could envision a godly XP crafted armor piece going for half a stack or so). People certainly do buy godly legendaries and rares at significant rates though. Crafted items are almost certainly going to be used mainly to fill gaps in existing items, or for areas with specialized requirements like xp/lb/ws. But nerfing quest rewards is just going to make people poorer to start with, and I can't see how crafted items could significantly increase wealth overall in an MMO.
Then, again, AscendedKitten only said that the reason for the quest rewards nerf is because there are "new methods of money making", which may not necessarily refer to crafted items. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
U r right. Then again, a good xp/lb item goes half a stack??? Lol *ways to get rich* how much does godly discoverer go for? Exactly. U will never be able to achieve Putrid’s, Silvah’s, or Peeves’ net by selling stuff worth a measly 32le. But thats not even the real problem. The real priblem is no one will BUY custom items because everyone can craft whatever they want on their own, kind of like how legends don’t sell anymore
Custom items are much harder to acquire than legendaries. Anyone can grab some mediocre loot bonus gear and use one of Adomorn's lootruns, but few are willing to max out a refining or crafting track.
Everyone knows the Mythic market is broken - there's no way to cover that gap short of an item tier that literally covers that gap.
By "good xp item" I don't mean a 32% Speaker or a 40% Bad Wolf, I mean a crafted item with all T3 ingredients.
R u suggesting that custom items cover the gap between legends and mythics? Also how many hours does it take to max out a crafting or refining track?
Custom items definitely do not cover the legendary-mythic gap. It's more like they patch up gaps in endgame items (e.g. the lack of offensive air rings, or a high walkspeed helmet that doesn't destroy your HP).
I don't know how long it would take to max out a crafting or refining track, but I would estimate that the time for getting a single one of the 12 tracks to endgame level is about the same as leveling a class to 100, taking into account xp and lb items. However, there's no need to have multiple classes at endgame refining or crafting levels - you only need one class that's focused on that track.
Then u can just sell shit and make money right? But how much do u make?
