Heretic Gods: Forum Experiment (rp)

Hour 4:

By hour four, the mountains are clearly visible to your left. It is quite strange actually, the mountains seem to just ride suddenly out of the ground, no build up or anything. In 3 more miles the road should turn left and lead you into Thul, a city literally build across a mountain pass.

On your right however, is another outcropping of trees. These trees have small shrubs under them. Ronan luckily notices that there are three animals hiding in the bushes. They are Silver Wolves! Syllarine knows aboit them, and this is what is known of them at this time:
They are a rare creature of the central plains.
The travel in groups of three.
They are known for coordinating attacks against travelers.
Do not kill the alpha wolf until last, it will send the wolves into a fury.

The wolves walk out of the shurbs, knowing they have been noticed. Wolf 1 has a large scar across its face, Wolf 2 is holding something metal in its mouth. Wolf 3 has a abnormal fur coloration, with black fur, unlike the normal silver fur. It is clear that you are dealing with a bunch of Wolf badasses here.

PLAYER TURN START

 

I run forward and attack Wolf 2

 

I hit Wolf 2 as well

 

"We got a bunch of badasses over here!"
Attack Wolf 2

 

"Clearly.."
Ronan aims and shoots Wolf 1

 

"Shut up"

 

Ronan laughs and replies with "Nah, I'm good."

 

Irene tries to stab the wolf... and misses.

Syllarine sries to harpoon the wolf and hits its tail, causing 1 damage

Cole tries to hit the wolf, and falls off balence, causing 1 damage to himself!

Ronan fires at wolf1, and his it in the leg for 5 damage!

ENEMY TURN:

wolf one snarls at Syllarine, then Leaps and bites for 3 damage (17/20)

Wolf two follows suit and hits Syllarine for 2 damage (15/20)

Wolf 3 looks confused, and jumps at raflin, knocking him down for 4 damage! (16/20)

The wolves regroup to discuss tactics, snarling and looking over a map of the surronding area. They then howl, quickly down a shot of liquid courage, and get ready to fight again.

PLAYER TURN

 

(hmmm these wolves seem pretty tough/smart)
can I like, speak to animals?? I'm half snake right? And failing that, these wolves are clearly not your run-of-the mill wolves. Could I try talking it out? If we were to fight both sudes would likely suffer heavy losses.

 

(The wolves can understand you, but not respond. Try talking to them and you will see. Being a Naga does not effect anything about the wolves)

 

Ronan smiles and aims for Wolf 3.
