I attack the woman with my daggers

 

Cole hits the woman for 3 damage! (5-2)

Brisingr helps ruflin, healing him for 3! (18/20)

Syllarine yells at the woman, telling her to stop, but the woman just looks at her very confusingly, because Cole had just attacked her.

Irene attacks the woman, catching the woman off Guard while she was looking at Syllarine, for 5 damage! (6-2+1)

Ronan is very confused, and does not do anything... (+2 for next round)

Ruflin rests and gets back up to full (20/20)

ENEMY TURN

The woman looks at the 6 of you, and starts slowly backing up. She then makes a motion with her hand, creating a huge wall of ice between you and her! But before she can do anything else, a drow male exits the tavern, and stabs her in the back with a short sword. The woman collapses to the ground, dead. The drow says "godsdamn holy warriors", and then stares at your party.

Combat over?

 

Syllarine questions the drow.
Who are you?

 

"Wat she sad. Hoo da f*ck r u?" Still drunk

 

I sheathe my daggers "...and we should probably thank you for helping us as well."

 

"My name is Andrrek" he says, and looks at your party. "I thought I was never going to go back there, but I want to help you."

Andrrek leans against the wall of the inn, where you finally notice he has a large bandage around his chest. "I have much to tell you, but we need to leave before anyone notices... This" he says, looking down at the dead woman. "Follow me, I know a shortcut to the town of Thul" he says, and then before you can answer, he starts walking down the street.

Do any of you know if there's a pastry shop around here?"

You walk behind Andrrek for quite some time, and about 5 miles later, you end up at a small farmhouse. "This is a safe house" Andrrek says, "We can stay the night here, but we must leave at dawn" Andrrek knocks on the door twice, then pulls a cord hanging off the side of the house. The door opens. Inside is a small living area, with plenty of chairs and a fireplace. Stairs leading upstairs are slightly to the right.

Andrrek sits down in one of the chairs and says "ok, now is the time for questions"

 

Cole will just take a nap on a chair

 

I stay at the entrance to the room and give Anderrek a distrusting glare. "Just why would you, a Drow, want to help us?"

 

"Do you have any pastries in here?"

 

Andrrek looks slightly surprised for a moment, then answers "your not from around here are you? Why, I'm a escapee from the capital!"

"You must be from the north, as you have still the stereotypes that are commonly associated with the drow. The truth is much worse. You could call Drow society a Matriarchy, but it is much worse then that. The godess Arachne demands sacrifice of men all the time, for the littlest of infringements on her law. I was a aspiring young buerocrat, leaching onto up-and-coming drow priestesses. It was a very valued career path. But then my latest "master" did something to anger Arachne, and she ordered my death to appease her. I narrowly escaped, taking what is called the giinio path to escape. This is one of the safe houses on that path."
