    i have a stack of rotten flesh, blaze powder, and leather but he wont take it

    You might have the old ones. The new ones also say Junk Item, and if yours doesn't show that, you'll need to collect the new ones. I was pissed when I found out it didn't take my old 64 leather. Had to get new leather.

    Well, good luck with that. I'd suggest getting rotten flesh from the emerald trail, while the blaze powder you obviously get from the roots of corruption.
