Help with game progression ;-;

I'm currently at archer 52 (I run boltslinger) and have an 66% eruption that has 2 t5 fire powders. I feel like at this level, (even when fighting mobs 5 to 10 levels below mine) my dps and health, and their corresponding stats (crit, lifesteal, manasteal, health regen, etc, is also not good. Is there an armor set I can grind towards or get right now to help with certain quests/dungeons/boss altars? I'm currently trying to get the chestplate drop from Prison of Souls, because somebody told me armor and equipment with the -1 firerate stat is good for life/manasteal. Thanks :D.
