Help Texture Pack Is Completely Broken

so basically i just joined and got the prompt to install the pack so i did and well i literately cant do anything the game just bricks it's self :P

i cant post an image but all the blocks are errors i cant walk or move because of it i tried downloading it but i cant find it, my internet is perfectly fine and fast enough to download 5mb

i also tried the minecraft file server pack and put it into the regular minecraft reesource pack but it still was broken and it didn't even show up in the resource pack in minecraft

 

what version of MC are you using? I'd recommend that if you are using 1.13+ that you use 1.12.2
