The issue wasn't that "oh man can't have my opinion anymore", the issue is that it was hurtful.
Also bringing up the fact you don't like pride is uncalled for in this thread, you're basically intruding on people trying to enjoy themselves and going "you shouldn't enjoy yourself". It's fine to not like the current state of it or whatever, but you shouldn't have phrased it how you did or bring it up here.

Honestly, compared to other video games forums having a pride thread it isn’t “too bad” there was like only one person who was homophobic I think and they were shut down instantly. All things considered this is pretty mild, which is a great thing, I’m glad this community isn’t homophobic for the most part.

 

yeah, i suppose that's true. my perception of "a normal discussion about pride" has been warped in recent years due to basically only existing in circles with other queer people.
