Guilds Guild Rooms

    Guild Rooms.
    I think it would be pretty cool for each guild to have a large upgradable and expandable space. Its size and range of blocks available could scale to a few things, primarily:
    • Number of players in the guild;
    • Total exp of the guild - there could be milestones for certain amounts;
    • Territories claimed/held;
    • and other unique oddities like depending how many players have visited discoveries x, y and z could determine that unique blocks or decorations are available.
    Contests.
    There could be a weekly/monthly contest of best looking room - finalists would be selected in the forums by the community and the top few get judged by a group of staff.

    Shops.
    A shop could be present - which would help high level players free up banks from stacks and stacks of LE.

    The shop could include cool decorations like a bank; leaderboard (things that members have done - been present in x amount of wars; y mobs slain or z discoveries found.

    This would certainly give high level players a reason to go find the discoveries - because who is going to go out of their way for exp when they are already level 101?

    End Note.
    This is only a suggestion but if this was implemented I feel like it could make guild feel a lot more community centered - as the only real chats or times members join up are when there's a war on - which can be repetitive. It would also encourage lower leveled players to get into guilds as they could hop onto forums and see people talking negatively about them and decide to skip.
    I feel like guilds could be a lot more integral to gameplay rather than sitting on the side for a majority of the playtime - until the very end.

    The plots could be situated away from the main map; like a lot of the quest areas are. A way of preventing a mass of plots being required would be to only grant one when a guild reaches a certain level. Also - the shop wouldn't sell equipment, I was indicating that it would sell building materials and decorations for the guild rooms. The resources would be unusable in the main world - which would deter people taking them away from the guild rooms apart from trading reasons.

    this wouldnt work well if 2 peeps are building in the plot and in different servers
    also this could lead to room grief

    this was only a suggestion so there going to be flaws but im sure there could be workarounds and fixes

    We have more than 2k guilds afaik
    Let's say each gets a small room 16x16
    That's an area almost as big as the current map

    What you say : 16*16*2000 = 512000
    The map : 4000*5500 = 22000000
    Llevigar plains : 1000 * 550 = 550000

    It's not the size of the map, but it's still a lot to fill this whole plain XD

    Why? There's literally no reason to this other than creating lag and an attempt making at Wynn something it's not. It seems you even thought of adding customization, which is just not a good idea. One, this server isn't about building and never will or should be. Two, do you really want dicks all over your house? Three, there's no telling what kind of abuse you could do with that.
    This would just create toxicity and butthurt players, even more so because of griefing and trolls. Plus, weekly? You realize the mods are just volunteers, right? They've got no obligation to do any of what they do, pushing them harder than what they signed up for won't do anyone any favours.
    Or we could add money sinks that aren't things we already have plenty of. Plus, how in the world would it lower the price of relics?
    Depending on location of the room, having a bank could either be inconsequential or a terrible idea. Guilds already have leaderboards; other kinds may be nice, but that's a completely separate idea.
    Dozens of players.
    This would not do that at all. Players that join guilds often join precisely for the wars. If they don't, then it's probably a friends thing, meaning it's already "community" based.
    Not in the slightest. Guilds aren't bad because they lack shitty housing, they're bad because they're broken.
    They're not supposed to be; they've been on the side since the very start. This wouldn't help integrate it into gameplay either. Plus, there's still the issue of guilds being completely broken.

    While this isn't the worst housing suggestion by a long shot, it's still housing. On top of that, a lot of what you think this suggestion will do just isn't true. Move on and try something else if you want to make guilds more important.
