Dude, stop. There's a difference between being "on a high horse" and actually having a problem with the sexist, racist, xenophobic things he's done.
And, yes, people are legitimately afraid. Yes, some of the ideas and propositions are scary. People are afraid of being deported. People are afraid of conversion "therapy." People are afraid of losing their health insurance. People are afraid of losing the right to abortions.
Are some of these fears blown out of the water? Exaggerated? Irrational? Perhaps. But there's a difference between people joking around saying "lol see you guys in 4 years" and people who are legitimately afraid.

And I hope I'm not forgetting the brilliant hashtag NotMyPresident.

I don't have a problem with people voicing their opinions, not at all. They're fully entitled to have their own.

    However.

When everything I see against Trump is fucking bullshit criticism like "OH HE'LL DEPORT ALL THE BLACKS" or "HE GON KILL THE GAYS", without EVEN him being the President as of now, this is starting to get on my nerves.
I keep seeing wankers making up false stories about Hillary Supporters getting beaten in the streets for having a different opinion, trying to "protest" by making their twitter pictures black, calling for his impeachement, or even death.

Meanwhile, in reality, nobody knows what the fuck Trump is about. His most recent interview about Obamacare would place him as a moderate republican, unlike those crazy arses like Ted Cruz and his own VP.
As far as I know, his only plans of "deporting" anyone are illegal immigrants and muslims, which will most definitely not going to happen. It's more than 11 million people lmao. If you're scared of being personnaly deported you might as well be scared of the boogeyman.
Pence funded this, it has nothing to do with Trump. Trump even said "I'll protect the LGBTQ community from the middle eastern ideology".
Trump might have only chose Pence to quell the crazy fundies in the GOP (which, tbh, is filled with them at this point. Hello Cruz)
    See his most recent interview.
Up for debate, since he did a complete spin with the healthcare plan, he might as well do so with his recent stances on abortion.
So far, his abortion stances were completely retarded, yes. But he's not even president yet.

You can hate him already if you want to. Sure.
What would that achieve though ? You're stuck with him for 4 years. Do you want to make the same mistakes and divide your country further ? Look at how well it bode for it, you have somebody who has only ideas and no experience to back them up.

As someone that typically falls in the left, Trump is a change to american politics.

And it fucking annoys me to no bounds that people from MY SIDE (technically) are acting the most like entitled little brats who harass people who voted for the people they disagreed with in a democratic election and trying to fuck up his mandate before it even begun.

    EDIT : Oh yeah, I don't condone any attacks made by Trump supporters to Hillary voters, they're cunts as well c;

I'm not trying to say Hillary supporters haven't done shit, because yeah, they have. Both sides have done a lot of just... nasty things. But I still think that people should be allowed to be afraid, even if their fears are irrational.
I know I probably came off as really confrontational in my first post (and maybe I still am), but that's most likely due to the fact that I'm biased. Im biased because I've seen my own mother having some of these fears. And seeing someone you're close to afraid of their future, afraid of what's going to happen to them- it hurts.
So yeah, I'm not saying that some people are afraid for fully accurate reasons. Maybe if more research was done, people wouldn't have to be afraid. But I'm also not saying that those fears aren't valid. I think people should be able to be afraid without others telling them not to be. And that might not be what you're doing, but I felt the need to speak up.
(Also yeah, I don't like seeing people from either side attacking people from the other side without knowing who they are. Feeling different about them is okay, because you can't change how you feel towards a person. But expressing that and attacking someone just based on who they voted for is wrong.)

I do agree that was a spot on vid, the leaders of the left have been rather pittyful, even at leading (looking at you Jeremy).

But I don't what that person was saying about building a bunker was out of fear of the right, after all, the US is as right wing as it gets in the world, for the bourgeoisie, by the bourgeoisie. Hillary was right wing as well, albeit more left than Trump. It's not the right that's scary, it's Trump.

Capitalism in the US is bad as it is, what with horrible worker rights, a system of tips to allow the employer to underpay the worker and place the responsibility on the customer, and the US just put a purebred capitalist in charge, who aside from being a capitalist (with all the traits of one as well! What with his mistreatment of his workers at the Trump hotel and such...) is a racist, a misogynist, and a xenophobe. With all that, I think there's plenty to fear.

I agree with what Zacmo and timfluer are saying. I happen to be a straight, white, american male, as are my parents, so why should I be afraid? Not only because he has plans that could bring down the economy or that will progress global warming, but because I actually CARE about people who aren't straight, white, american males. People are terrified, and, really, some of them truly should be. For example, illegal immigrants have had children who are legal citizens. Their parents will be deported and they'll be left in America, alone. People acting this apathetic really straight-up sickens me... I am ashamed to be an American.

So I'll probably just ignore you and forget this thread ever happened, cultist.

(Note: 'Cultists' are the people who believe Trump has no flaws and is a perfect, completely pure human being.)

I'm a complete outsider with no stakes in this election, so I'd like to think I'm unbiased, but it's most certaintly false. Meh, you can be biased and still have a rationnal train of logic.
But I agree with your post.
I agree on all points except the labelling of Trump as a sexist, whatever the fuck you want to call him. Sure, he said some garbage that people would deem racist (Rapist Mexicans) and all the rest, but I don't pretend to be inside his head. Your acts can be sexists or whatever even if you don't intend to do so or think that way.
    Still, I agree mostly.
    Completely irrelevant.
I agree that if we take them at face value, his policies on these things are horrendous.
    For now, at least.
I heard illegal immigrants in the US are roughly 11 million. Do you really expect the Trump administration to document where all of these people came from and send them back to their country ? That'd be insane and impractical as hell.
Most likely because my parents brought me up by saying I shouldn't scream and kick before I know something is going to hurt.
Which is definitely not the case with Trump since he did a complete u-turn on Obamacare and seems to care more about uniting the country than dividing it. Even going as far as to qualify Hillary as "charming" too, ew.
You're chasing delusions, not a single person like that commented on this thread.
