I recently was talking to a youtuber by the name of Adventures of Hippy. He does a lot of wynncraft gameplay. So I asked him if he would check this thread out and consider being on the build team. He said that wasn't a good builder. So then, I asked him if he would "sponsor" us. Like be the youtuber that posts sneak previews of the server! A recorder, so to speak. He agreed to do it but I don't know if you would be into that toxic, but if you let me know and I'll tell him.

So how's the progress going along @Toxicdrule Such as what's needing to be done and what has already been accomplished.

    GuardianCraft
    Behind the Development
Trading system: How will it work?
Trading, in many different MMO-styled games, are the backbone of player economy. You wanted to get rid of a certain item, someone's there to buy it cause they think its just what they need.
Trading, I think, will possibly be one of the harder aspects of GuardianCraft to finely tune, so that people are left with the feeling that they've done a decent transaction with either another player, or an NPC.
Let me explain trading in an example: after a heated fire fight between you & Fallen soldiers, you've noticed that you have picked up a new assault rifle. Whether or not its a weapon that's higher than the one your using or its too under-levelled, it doesn't matter. What does matter though, is selling this newly acquired/old weapon.
Now, the only place you can find selling or buying NPC's in GuardianCraft is at the Guardian's tower, in the main hub of your server. If you want, you can trade items with fellow guardian's on the same planet, but seeing as you can't rely on player trading all the time, lets continue this example with an NPC.
These guys will be stationary, unlike moving, talking NPC's and mission givers. They'll come in different races, like mechanoid, alien, whatever. Its just as well something like this is possible, thanks to villager variety & resource packs.
As soon as you right-click them, they'll say greetings, and the trading menu will pop up on-screen. It'll look fairly familiar to the trading system in Wynncraft, which is easy to understand & accurate.
To trade, simply place the item you want to sell in the bar, and you'll end up with your credits. Sold!
These NPC's will also accept engrams - blueprints of weapons that you'll find on your journey. Place the engram in the bar, and you'll be rewarded with whatever weapon you were given.
There's not much to say about buying. I'm planning to have the format as close as possible to Wynncraft's system, except - you know, futuristic & stuff. And I also wouldn't recommend buying weapons from shops in the first place anyway. You'll find much better weapons on planets.
If you think there's anything I've missed, or if you have a question, then don't be afraid to ask! We're still recruiting talented people to the team :D

Guys, if you want a decent server host, you should try CubedHost, it's a decent host with infinite players for $2.

Any server can have infinite players. All you do is change the number in the server properties folder. You can set the player count to 4o,000, but that does not mean the server will be able to handle that many players. It's possible for it to do so, but communities that do have their player count set that high are more than likely running more than one server and have them connected to each other with Bungee as an example.

You can have 1 GB of RAM and set your player count too 1,000 and I know for a fact that the Minecraft server will not be able to handle that amount of players. The server will not be able to keep up with all of the processing required and will cause the console to overload and in other words have the server crash.

Now with renting a section of a server from a hosting company could be very different from what I am basing my information off of. It has been a very long time since I have rented a portion of a server from a Minecraft hosting company to host any of my Minecraft servers. Today I use my own physical, dedicated, servers to host Machine Minecraft Servers. (When buying a Minecraft server from a hosting company all you are doing is renting out a small portion of the companies server and you are using some sort of program that has remote connection to the server, but is very limited and highly restricted. Thus not allowing you to have the full potential of renting that little, dedicated, section you have.)

Even though the plan says $2 for unlimited players does not mean anything. What hosting company would give you so much RAM for $2 to have 1000 players online. You would need a lot of RAM if you are just having all of the players on one Minecraft server and not have any sort of a Bungee system setup or any other type of system to connect multiple Minecraft servers together to host this amount.

    Have you played Destiny: yes
Do you have expansions: yes (didn't buy any silver yet, but its tempting)
Experience: playing Destiny? yup (>300 hours)

I'll just write some background and the stages:
    Level 24 Quest-Lost Crow
Variks needs you to find a Crow that has information on the next Kell of Kells. Find Him.

"Crow has knowledge on Kell of Kells, yes? Must unite Eliksni." -Variks

Stage I: Kill shanks on Venus for their cameras.
"The Fallen have their shanks carry around cameras. I'm not sure why they have cameras, but my guess is that they're filming a reality TV show." -Cayde-6

Stage II: Complete story mission "Of Shanks and Harpies"
Summary: It will have mechanics similar to the SABER 2 strike. the final bosses is a giant Shank, and a Harpy whose lasers can toggle between Arc, Void, and Solar.
"Those Harpies and Shanks on Venus have a huge rivalry... Their most common place to fight is near the Vault of Glass. See if those robots have anything on the Crow." Scout #555

    Stage III: Talk to Variks
    "Crow found, yesss???" -Variks

    Rewards:
    Experience
Armor upgrade (level 20 Rare chestpiece, named "Shank's armor")

To be honest, I've actually been wanting this. I've also kind of realized that the Atheon Encounter from VoG could be replicated with 3 command blocks (most of it, at least).

C++.Basic, taking classes for the next 4 years.
The course is really too ahead of what my class is supposed to do (but I can handle it so no problem) , meaning I got to code C++, 7 months earlier than I should have.
    No.

Sounds though as if C++ is your first language you are learning. I recommend spending some time on learning HTML 5 and CSS 3 on web development because if you learn those two languages it opens your mind and allows you to understand coding more easier.

But if you want to be a straight up programmer and not learn other coding languages then look in the coding language C or C+ and make sure to touch on Java. After all of this I recommend then looking into C-Objective... That's a lot of fun
