World Gravestones

With the new update you now lose items quicker, but making them not instantly despawn brings an 'annoying dupeing bug' according to salted, so why not make gravestones that hold your items?
I had 2 ideas:
1. The Gravestones are like loot chests, when you open them it displays e.g. :
DerVillager's Gravestone
Upon closing, items inside will disappera just like a loot chest.
2. A gravestone that slowly breaks when punched with normal attack, yes of course a little bit harder to code but it'd be cooler :D as soon as it is 'destroyed' items will drop on the ground

Aww yes, Runescape gravestones! I like the first option, but it might be a good idea to physically "hide" the block for other players, as it could prevent players for accessing some areas else.

 

They. Could lock them like when someone else is in a loot chest your trying to get into and just rename the text

 

@Ascended Kitten means that if someone died in a 2*1 corridor the chest would block it meaning they couldn't get through.

There are no client-side blocks (except for ghost blocks and those are something different. Way different.).

if anyone has ever played ftb you would probably see OpenBlocks' gravestones, which instead of dropping items on the ground they are put inside of a grave and do not despawn until the player leaves.

 

This would completely fix the mistake that is the new soul point system.
