Archer/Hunter Grandmother Build

So I recently bought a gma (It was like 0.25-0.5 stack underpriced, don't judge me). But before I sell it, I want to test around with it to see if it actually is as shit as people think it is. I came up with an idea for a build, but before I get the build, I want YOU to tell me your opinion of it so if there's a flaw I can change it.
Anyways, here's the build.

Before we start, here are the skill points (based on a lv 100 class, If you're 101 you can just have 100 str)
98 str, 0 dex, 50 int, 0 def, 50 agil

So for the helmet I chose Moulded Helmet. This gives up to 52% earth damage and 10-12% spell damage. Downside is that it gives 1k health and -ws. You can also use pisces.

Next is Dondasch. The walkspeed cancels out gma's effect, and it gives more strength. 'nuff said

Next is Earth Sanctuary for the earth damage.

Then Snail boots for the health, and health reg. These may not be necessary depending on the player. If you want more damage, go with something else.

For accessories, I chose mana regen.
Suppression x2, squid anklet, and willpower. For the necklace you can also use golemlus core if your gma is REALLY bad and you hate -health reg.

After this, you should have around 150% damage, 6-10 mana reg, and around normal health reg and walkspeed.

 

so... this is a melee build or?

 

why does gaia do 12k but gma does 8k.
they do like the same base damage :(

 

Mage has a bigger spell multiplier than archer does.

 

i guess it could be melee but I'm trying to do more spell dmg

alrighty, here's my build
Pretty spammy, not too bad at survivability



Thanos Legionnaire Helm, you can get it from the Thanos armor shopfor 12 le and 24 gold ingots. You can get pisces if you want, but i like thanos legionnaire.
Anti-static, gotten from fallen factory
Earth sanctuary, from corrupted lost sanct.
Gaea-Hewn Boots, from Hive.

For the accessories, I like to have mana, so I have mana accesories.
2x Moon Pool circlet, from Hive
Squid Anklet, bought. Try to get 2/4 mana regen on these.
Golemlus Core (Counter gma's health regen) from Hive

Lots of earth powders. Again, you're gunna want a lot of rage. So when you're low, you do supreme dmg. Which is really nice bonus. All out t6 earth powders, except on anti-static use a t6 air to balance a bit. You're going to end up really weak against air, so be careful there.

Assign 100 points in strength, at least 33 defense, and at least 65 intelligence. That's exactly 198 skill points, if you're 101, extra can go into intel.

Stats

Damage is about 12k per bomb with 4 mana bombs and 6/4 mana regen.

Melee: About 3k - 3.9k
Arrow storm: Around 650 per arrow (400 ish from grandma, 200 raw spell damage, and extra dmg) About 39k dmg if you hit all 60 arrows.
Escape: About 4.5k
Bomb: 12k~.
Arrow shield: About 10k.

Mana cost, eh, if you can't see clearly, 2 mana escape, 4 mana bomb, 3 mana arrow storm, 5 mana arrow shield.


How to play:
Get a bow that's reliable and strong, personally, I use hellstrand. Nice damage. Hold it whenever you're not in combat, or when you don't feeel like using your grandma.
Here's the grandma (Ik, it's not fully powdered)
So, whenever you engage in combat, HOLD GRANDMOTHER AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE, UNLESS YOU HAVE A MAGE TO HEAL U CONSTNATLY. Spray your arrows on the enemy in a burst, switch back to O'reliable, and repeat. Drink potions if necessary. Run away if necessary. Basically, there are two ways. Arrow shield/escape the enemy, then bomb/arrowstorm until your outta mana or until the opponent starts shooting you again. Or just flat out bomb and not care about the negative health regen. If you're stupid and you have like 1k health left from holding your grandma too much, look! Your gaea hewn boots has exploding! Now get a weapon (HELLSTRAND) with high lifesteal and kill some peeps, your health is going to go up craaazy.

Yea. I personally really liike this.



Pros:

• Spammy
• Nice damage
• Be able to say "I TOLD YOU GRANDMOTHER IS GOOD, HA"
• Nice health, 10k
• Gotten from game, no need to worry about varied ids. They're all the same!

Cons:

• Archers are naturally weaker, so you're not exactly Superman. You'll still take a lot of damage from a variety of sources, but they're considerably less, unless they're air. Then you're screwed.
• Stupid health regen.

 

I take all the ew grandma I ever said back thats amazing all build I seen was take snail stuff and keep hold gma while you say nonono I will just abuse life steel exploding youre a genius
