Most likely.
Melee Flameshot will definitely do more damage. Up to preference really, depends if you like using spells or melee. My build is more of a hybrid of everything.
But after all we're talking about the best boss soloing build, I'll post yours here since you apparently did not bother doing it. c;

Looking at the video, 5-8k fast attack speed melees, ~280 health regen and 250/3s life steal. Easy LI solo with defense and heal potions, an excellent build.
